You carry them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which grows up.
You carry them away as with a flood; they are like a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which grows up.
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
You carry them away like a flood; They are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up:
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up;
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: In the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
Their generations shall be a sleep and at dawn it shall change like a flower
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass that groweth up:
things that are counted nothing, shall their years be.
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning:
You sweep mortals away. They are a dream. They sprout again in the morning like cut grass.
You end their lives; they sleep. They are like grass that grows in the morning--
You will sweep them away while they are asleep— by morning they are like growing grass.
You bring their lives to an end and they "fall asleep." In the morning they are like the grass that sprouts up;
You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew.
Yet you sweep people away in the sleep of death-- they are like the new grass of the morning:
You sweep people away like dreams that disappear. They are like grass that springs up in the morning.
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep; in the morning they are like grass which groweth.
You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.
You cause people's lives to end, as a dream finishes when you wake up. People are like grass that appears in the morning.
Thou hast inundated them, they are asleep, In the morning as grass he changeth.
You carry men away as with a flood. They fall asleep. In the morning they are like the new grass that grows.
You release the waters of death to sweep mankind away in his slumber. In the morning, we are blades of grass, Growing rapidly under the sun but withering quickly; yet in the evening, we fade and die, soon to be cut down.
We glide along the tides of time as swiftly as a racing river and vanish as quickly as a dream. We are like grass that is green in the morning but mowed down and withered before the evening shadows fall.
You snatch them away like a dream; they are like the grass of the field,
You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew.
Thou dost cause them to pass by as the waters of a river; they are as a dream, which is strong in the morning like grass.
You end their lives; they sleep. They are like grass that grows in the morning—
You carry away [these disobedient people, doomed to die within forty years] as with a flood; they are as a sleep [vague and forgotten as soon as they are gone]. In the morning they are like grass which grows up—
While people sleep, you take their lives. They are like grass that grows up in the morning.
So don’t return us to mud, saying, “Back to where you came from!” Patience! You’ve got all the time in the world—whether a thousand years or a day, it’s all the same to you. Are we no more to you than a wispy dream, no more than a blade of grass That springs up gloriously with the rising sun and is cut down without a second thought? Your anger is far and away too much for us; we’re at the end of our rope. You keep track of all our sins; every misdeed since we were children is entered in your books. All we can remember is that frown on your face. Is that all we’re ever going to get? We live for seventy years or so (with luck we might make it to eighty), And what do we have to show for it? Trouble. Toil and trouble and a marker in the graveyard. Who can make sense of such rage, such anger against the very ones who fear you?
You sweep them away like a flood. They are like sleep in the morning, like grass which changes quickly.
You sweep them away; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning;
You carry us away like a flood; we last no longer than a dream. We are like weeds that sprout in the morning,
The years of them shall be; that be had for nought. Early pass he, as an herb, (And their years shall be as if nothing. In the morning they shall come forth, like a blade of grass,)
You bring our lives to an end just like a dream. We are merely tender grass
Thou dost sweep men away; they are like a dream, like grass which is renewed in the morning:
You sweep them away; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning;
You sweep them away; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning;
You sweep humans away like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning.
You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep [forgotten as soon as they are gone]; In the morning they are like grass which grows anew—
You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning:
you wash them away; They sleep, and in the morning they sprout again like an herb.
You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass that sprouts anew.
While people sleep, you ·take [put an end to] their lives. They are like grass that ·grows up [is new] in the morning.
You sweep them away in their sleep. In the morning they are like sprouting grass—
Thou dost sweep men away; they are like a dream, like grass which is renewed in the morning:
Yet you sweep people away, and they die. They are like new grass that grows in the morning.
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
When you sweep them away, they become like sleep; by morning they are like growing grass,
You sweep them away; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning;
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sheinah (sleep); in the boker they are like khatzir (grass) which withereth.
You sweep mortals away. They are a dream. They sprout again in the morning like cut grass.
You carry them away as with a flood; they are as a dream, like renewed grass in the morning:
Our life is like a dream that ends when morning comes. We are like grass
While people sleep, you take their lives. They are like weeds that grow in the morning.
You sweep them away like a flood. They fall asleep. In the morning they are like grass that sprouts anew.
Yet you sweep people away in the sleep of death – they are like the new grass of the morning:
