“If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,

If his children forsake My law and walk not in My judgments,

If his children forsake my law, And walk not in mine ordinances;

“If his children forsake my law and will not walk in my commands”

If his sons forsake my law, and walk not in mine ordinances;

And if his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments:

If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my rules,

"If his descendants abandon my teachings and do not live by my rules,

If his sons forsake My instruction and do not live by My ordinances,

"But if his sons abandon my laws and do not follow my ordinances,

If his sons reject my law and disobey my regulations,

"If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,

"If his sons forsake my law and do not follow my statutes,

But if his descendants forsake my instructions and fail to obey my regulations,

If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

If his children forsake my law, and don't walk in my ordinances;

But I will punish his descendants, if they do not accept my laws. If they do not obey my teaching, my rules, or my commands,

If his sons forsake My law, And in My judgments do not walk;

“If his sons leave My Law and do not do what I say,

If his children turn away from Me and forsake My law, if they refuse to walk according to My judgments,

If his children forsake my laws and don’t obey them, then I will punish them,

I will establish his dynasty forever and his throne as long as the heavens.

“If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,

If his sons forsake my law and do not walk in my judgments,

If his sons abandon my instruction and do not live by my ordinances,

If his children forsake My law and walk not in My ordinances,

“If his descendants reject my teachings and do not follow my laws,

A long time ago you spoke in a vision, you spoke to your faithful beloved: “I’ve crowned a hero, I chose the best I could find; I found David, my servant, poured holy oil on his head, And I’ll keep my hand steadily on him, yes, I’ll stick with him through thick and thin. No enemy will get the best of him, no scoundrel will do him in. I’ll weed out all who oppose him, I’ll clean out all who hate him. I’m with him for good and I’ll love him forever; I’ve set him on high—he’s riding high! But I’ll never throw them out, never abandon or disown them. Do you think I’d withdraw my holy promise? or take back words I’d already spoken? I’ve given my word, my whole and holy word; do you think I would lie to David? His family tree is here for good, his sovereignty as sure as the sun, Dependable as the phases of the moon, inescapable as weather.”

If his sons forsake my law, and they do not walk according to my judgments,

If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my ordinances,

“But if his descendants disobey my law and do not live according to my commands,

Forsooth if his sons forsake my law; and go not in my dooms. (But if his sons abandon my Law; and do not go in my judgements.)

Suppose some of his children should reject my Law and refuse my instructions.

If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my ordinances,

If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my ordinances,

But if his children ever abandon my Instruction, stop following my rules—

“If his children turn away from My law And do not walk in My ordinances,

If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my rules,

I will establish his dynasty forever, his throne as the days of the heavens.

“If his sons abandon My Law And do not walk in My judgments,

His seed I will establish forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
