Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise you, when you do well to yourself.
Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise you, when you do well for yourself.
Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
Though while he lives he blesses himself (For men will praise you when you do well for yourself),
Though while he lived he blessed his soul (and men will praise thee when thou doest well for thyself),
Though while he lived he blessed his soul (And men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself,)
Because he blesses his soul in his life, he will acknowledge you when you bless him.
Though he blessed his soul in his lifetime, and men will praise thee when thou doest well to thyself, --
For in his lifetime his soul will be blessed: and he will praise thee when thou shalt do well to him.
Though while he lived he blessed his soul, and men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself,
For though, while he lives, he counts himself blessed —and though you get praise when you do well for yourself—
Even though he blesses himself while he is alive (and they praise you when you do well for yourself),
Though he praises himself during his lifetime-- and people praise you when you do well for yourself--
although he considers himself blessed while he's alive. Though people praise you for doing well,
He pronounces this blessing on himself while he is alive: "May men praise you, for you have done well!"
Though while he lives he congratulates himself-- And though men praise you when you do well for yourself--
Though while they live they count themselves blessed-- and people praise you when you prosper--
In this life they consider themselves fortunate and are applauded for their success.

While he lived, he was happy with his life. He thought, ‘People will praise me, because I am rich.’
For his soul in his life he blesseth, (And they praise thee when thou dost well for thyself.)
Even if while he lives, he thinks good of himself, and even though men praise you when you do well for yourself,
During their lives, they seek every blessing and advantage because others praise you when you’ve done well.
Though a man calls himself happy all through his life—and the world loudly applauds success—
When he dies, he will take nothing with him; his wealth will not accompany him below.
For while he lives he blesses his soul— And men will praise you when you do well for yourself—
Though while he lives, his life shall be blessed: and men will praise thee when thou art prosperous.
Though he blesses himself during his lifetime— and you are acclaimed when you do well for yourself—
Though while he lives he counts himself happy and prosperous, and though a man gets praise when he does well [for himself],
Even though they were praised when they were alive— and people may praise you when you succeed—
So don’t be impressed with those who get rich and pile up fame and fortune. They can’t take it with them; fame and fortune all get left behind. Just when they think they’ve arrived and folks praise them because they’ve made good, They enter the family burial plot where they’ll never see sunshine again.
Throughout his life he congratulates himself: “People praise you because you have done so well for yourself.”
Though in their lifetime they count themselves happy —for you are praised when you do well for yourself—
Even if someone is satisfied with this life and is praised because he is successful,
For his soul shall be blessed in his life; he shall acknowledge to thee, when thou hast done well to him. (Even though his soul shall be blessed in this life; and people shall praise him, when he hath done well for himself.)
We humans are praised when we do well, and all of us are glad to be alive.
Though, while he lives, he counts himself happy, and though a man gets praise when he does well for himself,
Though in their lifetime they count themselves happy —for you are praised when you do well for yourself—

Even though they were ·praised [blessed] when they were alive— and people may praise you when you ·succeed [do well]—
For when he dies he takes nothing away. His splendor will not follow him down.

While they lived, they believed they were blessed. People praised them when things were going well for them.
