Then Balaam saw Amalek and proclaimed his poem: Amalek was first among the nations, but his future is destruction.
Next, Balaam looked directly at Amalek and then uttered this prophetic statement: "Even though Amalek is an international leader, his future is permanent destruction."
Then Balaam looked on Amalek and delivered this oracle: "Amalek was the first of the nations, but his end will be that he will perish."
And he looked at Amalek and took up his discourse and said, "Amalek was the first of the nations, But his end shall be destruction."
Then Balaam saw Amalek and spoke his message: "Amalek was first among the nations, but their end will be utter destruction."
Then Balaam looked over toward the people of Amalek and delivered this message: "Amalek was the greatest of nations, but its destiny is destruction!"
And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations, but his latter end shall be that he shall perish for ever.
He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, "Amalek was the first of the nations, But his latter end shall come to destruction."
Then, in his vision, Balaam saw the Amalekites. He said, ‘Amalek was the most powerful of all the nations. God will destroy it now and for ever.’
And he seeth Amalek, and taketh up his simile, and saith: `A beginning of the Goyim [is] Amalek; And his latter end -- for ever he perisheth.'
Then Balaam looked at Amalek and said, “Amalek was the first of the nations. But he will be destroyed in the end.”
Then Balaam turned toward the land of the Amalekites and spoke his prophecy. Balaam: Amalek was first among the nations, but its end is destruction.
Then Balaam looked over at the homes of the people of Amalek and prophesied: “Amalek was the first of the nations, But its destiny is destruction!”
He then looked toward Amalek and said, “Amalek was the first of the nations, but he will be the last until he perishes.”
Then he looked at Amalek and took up his discourse and said, “Amalek was the first of the nations, But his end shall be destruction.”
And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek, head of the Gentiles; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
Then Balaam saw Amalek and proclaimed his poem: Amalek was first among the nations, but his future is destruction.
[Balaam] looked at Amalek and took up his [prophetic] utterance, and said: Amalek is the foremost of the [neighboring] nations, but in his latter end he shall come to destruction.
Then Balaam saw Amalek and gave this message: “Amalek was the most important nation, but Amalek will be destroyed at last.”
Then Balaam spotted Amalek and delivered an oracle-message. He said, Amalek, you’re in first place among nations right now, but you’re going to come in last, ruined. * * *
He looked at Amalek, took up his oracle, and said: First among the nations was Amalek, but his end will come to destruction.
Then he looked on Amalek, and uttered his oracle, saying: “First among the nations was Amalek, but its end is to perish forever.”
Then in his vision Balaam saw the Amalekites and uttered this prophecy: “Amalek was the most powerful nation of all, But at the end it will perish forever.”
And when he had seen Amalek, he took a parable, and said, Amalek is the beginning of heathen men, whose last things shall be lost. (And in a vision he saw the Amalekites, and when he had received his prophecy, he said, Amalek was the first in all the heathen, but its end shall be utter destruction.)
“And I saw this vision about the Amalekites: Their nation is now great, but it will someday disappear forever.
Then he looked on Am′alek, and took up his discourse, and said, “Am′alek was the first of the nations, but in the end he shall come to destruction.”
Then he looked on Amalek and uttered his oracle, saying, “First among the nations was Amalek, but its end is to perish forever.”
Then he looked on Amalek, and uttered his oracle, saying: ‘First among the nations was Amalek, but its end is to perish for ever.’
He looked at Amalek and raised his voice and gave his address: “Amalek is foremost among the nations, but its end is to perish forever.”
Balaam looked at Amalek and took up his [fifth] discourse (oracle) and said: “Amalek was the first of the [neighboring] nations [to oppose the Israelites after they left Egypt], But his end shall be destruction.”
Then he looked on Amalek and took up his discourse and said, “Amalek was the first among the nations, but its end is utter destruction.”
Upon seeing Amalek, Balaam recited his poem: First of the nations is Amalek, but their end is to perish forever.
And he looked at Amalek and took up his discourse and said, “Amalek was the first of the nations, But his end shall be destruction.”
Then Balaam saw Amalek and gave this message: “Amalek was the most important nation, but Amalek will be destroyed at last [C the book of Esther tells the story of the final destruction of Amalek; Haman is a descendant of Agag; 24:7].”
Then he saw Amalek, so he uttered his oracle and said: “Amalek was the first of nations, but will come to ruin at last.”
Then he looked on Am′alek, and took up his discourse, and said, “Am′alek was the first of the nations, but in the end he shall come to destruction.”
Then Balaam saw the Amalekites. He spoke the message he had received from God. He said, “Amalek was the first nation to attack Israel. But their end will be total destruction.”
And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
He saw ‘Amalek and made this pronouncement: “First among nations was ‘Amalek, but destruction will be its end.”
Then he looked on Amalek, and uttered his oracle, saying: ‘First among the nations was Amalek, but its end is to perish for ever.’
And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his mashal, and said, Amalek was the reshit of the Goyim; but his acharit (latter end) shall be that unto destruction.
Then Balaam saw the Amalekites and delivered this message: “Amalek was first among the nations, but in the end it will be destroyed.”
Then he looked on Amalek; he took up his proverb and said: “Amalek was the first of the nations, but his end will be that he perishes forever.”
Then Balaam saw the Amalekites and said this: “Amalek is the strongest of all nations, but even Amalek will be destroyed!”
Then Balaam saw Amalek and gave this message: “Amalek was the most important nation. But Amalek will be destroyed at last.”
And he looked at Amalek, uttered his oracle, and said, “Amalek is first of the nations, but his future will be forever ruin.”
Then Balaam saw Amalek and spoke his message: ‘Amalek was first among the nations, but their end will be utter destruction.’
