Levites: Be still. This is sacred time and space. Do not mourn.
And the Levites, too, quieted the people, telling them, “That’s right! Don’t weep! For this is a day of holy joy, not of sadness.”
The Levites, thereupon, calmed all the people, saying: “Be quiet, for this is a sacred day. There is no reason for you to be saddened.”
So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.”
So the Levites caused all the people to be silent, saying, Be silent, for the day is holy; neither be ye sad.
And the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Be still, since today is holy. Don’t grieve.”

The Levites encouraged the people by saying, “This is a sacred day, so don't worry or mourn!”

The Levites helped the people to calm down. They said, “Be quiet, calm down, this is a special day. Don’t be sad.”

So the Levites silenced all of the people, saying, “Silence, for this day is holy. Do not be grieved.”
