And if there remain but few years to the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according to his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

“If a foreigner or temporary resident among you becomes rich and one of your brothers becomes poor and sells himself to the foreigner who lives among you or to a member of the foreigner’s clan, he still has the right of redemption after he has sold himself. One of his relatives may buy him back. An uncle or cousin or any close relative of his extended family may redeem him. Or, if he gets the money together, he can redeem himself. What happens then is that he and his owner count out the time from the year he sold himself to the year of Jubilee; the buy-back price is set according to the wages of a hired hand for that number of years. If many years remain before the Jubilee, he must pay back a larger share of his purchase price, but if only a few years remain until the Jubilee, he is to calculate his redemption price accordingly. He is to be treated as a man hired from year to year. You must make sure that his owner does not tyrannize him.
If only a few years remain until the year of Jubilee, he shall calculate the redemption in this way: He shall pay the price of his redemption on the basis of his years of work,
and if few years remain until the jubilee year, they shall compute thus: according to the years involved they shall make payment for their redemption.
They must refund a part of the purchase price according to the number of years left,
if few years be (and even if there be only a few years left), he shall (still) set reckoning with him by the number of the(se) years; and (so) he shall yield (money) to the buyer (for) that that is left of [the] years,

But suppose there are only a few years left until the Year of Jubilee. Then they must count the number of years that are left. The payment for their freedom must be based on that number.

If there remain only a few years until the year of yovel, then he will calculate with him; according to his years will he refund the amount for his redemption.
and if few years remain until the jubilee year, they shall compute thus: according to the years involved they shall make payment for their redemption.
And if there remain but few shanim unto the Shnat HaYovel, then he shall count that, and according unto his shanim shall he pay the price of his Geulah.
If there are only a few years left until the year of jubilee, he must take them into account. He must refund from his purchase price an amount equal to those years.
If there remain but a few years until the Year of Jubilee, then he shall calculate and pay the price proportionately for his redemption according to his years of service.
If only a few years are left until the year of Jubilee, the one who was sold must pay a small part of the original price.
There might only be a few years left until Jubilee. If so, the person must pay a small part of the first price.
And if there are a few years left until the Year of Jubilee, then he shall calculate for himself; he shall restore his redemption according to the number of his years.
If only a few years remain until the Year of Jubilee, they are to compute that and pay for their redemption accordingly.
