They will be a Whole-Burnt-Offering to God together with their Grain-Offerings and Drink-Offerings—offered as Fire-Gifts, a pleasing fragrance to God. Offer one male goat for an Absolution-Offering and two yearling lambs for a Peace-Offering. The priest will wave the two lambs before God as a Wave-Offering, together with the bread of the first ripe grain. They are sacred offerings to God for the priest. Proclaim the day as a sacred assembly. Don’t do any ordinary work. It is a perpetual decree wherever you live down through your generations.
Then from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you bring the sheaf to be waved, you shall count off seven weeks for yourselves. They must be complete weeks.
And from the day after the sabbath, from the day on which you bring the sheaf of the elevation offering, you shall count off seven weeks; they shall be complete.
Count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath on which you bring your sheaf of grain to present to the Lord.
Therefore ye shall number from the tother day of the sabbath, in which ye offered handfuls of the first fruits, seven full weeks, (And so ye shall count seven full weeks from the day after the sabbath, that is, after the Passover, in which ye offered the sheaves as a special gift,)
Seven weeks after you offer this bundle of grain, each family must bring another offering of new grain.
“And you shall count from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven full weeks shall they be,
“And from the day after the Sabbath, from the day on which you bring the sheaf of the elevation offering, you shall count seven full weeks.
And from the day after the sabbath, from the day on which you bring the sheaf of the elevation-offering, you shall count off seven weeks; they shall be complete.
You must count off seven weeks starting with the day after the Sabbath, the day you bring the bundle for the uplifted offering; these must be complete.
‘You shall count from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf (tied bundle of grain) of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths (seven full weeks).
“You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering.
Beginning with the day after the sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf for elevation, you shall count seven full weeks;
‘You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths.
“‘Count seven full weeks from the morning after the Sabbath. (This is the Sabbath that you bring the bundle of grain to ·present [wave] as an offering [C a ritual whereby the offerer symbolically waves the offering before God but then uses it].)
“Then you are to count from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the omer of the wave offering, seven complete Shabbatot.
“And you shall count from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven full weeks shall they be,
“ ‘The day you brought the grain for the wave offering was the day after the Sabbath. Count off seven full weeks from that day.
And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
“‘From the day after the day of rest — that is, from the day you bring the sheaf for waving — you are to count seven full weeks,
And from the day after the sabbath, from the day on which you bring the sheaf of the elevation-offering, you shall count off seven weeks; they shall be complete.
And ye shall count unto you from the day after the Shabbos, from the day that ye brought the omer of the wave offering; shevah shabbatot shall be complete,
“Count seven full weeks from the day after Passover (the day you bring the bundle of grain as an offering presented to the Lord)
You shall count seven full weeks from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf bundle of the wave offering.
“From that Sunday morning (the day you bring the sheaf to be presented to God), count seven weeks.
“‘Count seven weeks from the morning after the Sabbath. (This is the Sabbath that you bring the bundle of grain to present as an offering.)
“‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day of your bringing the wave offering’s sheaf—there shall be seven full weeks.
‘“From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count seven full weeks.
