If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands ever so clean;
If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
If I wash myself with snow water, And cleanse my hands with soap,
If I wash myself with snow water and make my hands never so clean,
If I wash myself with snow water, And make my hands never so clean;
If I washed myself with snow-water, and cleansed my hands in purity,
If I be washed as it were with snow waters, and my hands shall shine ever so clean :
If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
If I wash myself with snow and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with lye soap and cleanse my hands with bleach,
If I wash myself with snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,
"If I wash myself with water from snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands clean with lye,
"If I should wash myself with snow And cleanse my hands with lye,
Even if I washed myself with soap and my hands with cleansing powder,
Even if I were to wash myself with soap and clean my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
If I wash myself with snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,
I might wash myself with pure water. I might clean my hands with soap.
If I have washed myself with snow-water, And purified with soap my hands,
If I wash myself with snow and clean my hands using the best soap,
Though I wash my body in the pure melted snow and scrub my hands thoroughly with the strongest soap,
Even if I were to wash myself with purest water and cleanse my hands with lye to make them utterly clean,
If I should wash myself with snow and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I should wash myself with snow And cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with snow water and make my hands never so clean;
If I wash myself with snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with snow and cleanse my hands with lye,
I might wash myself with soap and scrub my hands with strong soap,
“My time is short—what’s left of my life races off too fast for me to even glimpse the good. My life is going fast, like a ship under full sail, like an eagle plummeting to its prey. Even if I say, ‘I’ll put all this behind me, I’ll look on the bright side and force a smile,’ All these troubles would still be like grit in my gut since it’s clear you’re not going to let up. The verdict has already been handed down—‘Guilty!’— so what’s the use of protests or appeals? Even if I scrub myself all over and wash myself with the strongest soap I can find, It wouldn’t last—you’d push me into a pigpen, or worse, so nobody could stand me for the stink.
If I wash myself with snow, if I cleanse my hands with strong soap,
If I wash myself with soap and cleanse my hands with lye,
No soap can wash away my sins.
(Even) Though I am washed as with waters of snow, and (even) though mine hands shine as most clean,
Even if I washed myself with the strongest soap,
If I wash myself with snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with soap and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with soap and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with snow, purify my hands with soap,
“If I were to wash myself with snow And cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with snow and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I should wash myself with soap and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I washed myself with snow, And cleansed my hands with lye,
[L Even if] I might wash myself with ·soap [or snow] and ·scrub [cleanse] my hands with ·strong soap [lye],
If I wash myself with melted snow and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,
Suppose I clean myself with soap. Suppose I wash my hands with cleanser.
If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
Even if I washed myself in melted snow and cleansed my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with soap and cleanse my hands with lye,
If I wash myself with sheleg (snow), and make my hands clean with lye,
If I wash myself with lye soap and cleanse my hands with bleach,
If I wash myself with snow water and cleanse my hands with soap,
Even if I scrubbed my hands with soap and washed myself whiter than snow,
I might wash myself with soap. And I might even wash my hands with strong soap.
If I wash myself with soap, and I cleanse my hands with lye,
Even if I washed myself with soap and my hands with cleansing powder,
