And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

He said to mankind, "The fear of the Lord is this: wisdom. And to turn from evil is understanding."

He has commanded mankind: 'To fear the Lord—that is wisdom; to move away from evil—that is understanding.'"

And he said to mankind, 'The fear of the LORD--that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.'"

"And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'"

And he said to the human race, "The fear of the Lord--that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding."

And this is what he says to all humanity: The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding.'"

And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

God said this to us humans: “If you want to be wise, learn to respect the Lord with fear. If you want to understand things properly, turn away from evil acts.” ’

And He saith to man: -- `Lo, fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom, And to turn from evil [is] understanding.'

And He said to man, ‘See, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. And to turn away from sin is understanding.’”

And to humankind, He said, “Now, the fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.”

And this is what he says to all mankind: ‘Look, to fear the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding.’”

And then he declared to man: ‘The fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to turn from evil is understanding.’ ”

So He said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to turn away from evil is understanding.’”

But to man He said, Behold, the reverential and worshipful fear of the Lord—that is Wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Then he said to humans, ‘The fear of the Lord is wisdom; to stay away from evil is understanding.’”

“God alone knows the way to Wisdom, he knows the exact place to find it. He knows where everything is on earth, he sees everything under heaven. After he commanded the winds to blow and measured out the waters, Arranged for the rain and set off explosions of thunder and lightning, He focused on Wisdom, made sure it was all set and tested and ready. Then he addressed the human race: ‘Here it is! Fear-of-the-Lord—that’s Wisdom, and Insight means shunning evil.’”

Then he said to mankind: Listen carefully. The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.

And he said to humankind, ‘Truly, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.’”

God said to us humans, “To be wise, you must have reverence for the Lord. To understand, you must turn from evil.”

And he said to man, Lo! the dread of the Lord, that is wisdom (And he said to man, Lo! the fear of the Lord/Lo! reverence for the Lord, that is wisdom); and to go away from evil, (that) is understanding.

God told us, “Wisdom means that you respect me, the Lord, and turn from sin.”

And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.’”

And he said to humankind, ‘Truly, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.’ ”

And he said to humankind, “Truly, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.”’

and said to humankind: “Look, the fear of the Lord is wisdom; turning from evil is understanding.”

Then he said to humans, ‘The fear of the Lord is wisdom [Prov. 1:7]; to ·stay [or turn] away from evil is understanding [Prov. 3:7].’”

And He said to mankind, ‘The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.”’

And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.’”

He said to human beings, “Have respect for the Lord. That will prove you are wise. Avoid evil. That will show you have understanding.”

And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

And to human beings he said, ‘Look, fear of Adonai is wisdom! Shunning evil is understanding!’”

And he said to humankind, “Truly, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.”’

And unto adam He said, See, the Yirat Adonoi, that is chochmah, and to depart from rah is binah.

So he told humans, ‘The fear of Adonay is wisdom! To stay away from evil is understanding.’”

To man He said: ‘Look, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.’ ”

Then he said to humans, ‘To fear and respect the Lord is wisdom. To turn away from evil is understanding.’”

Then he said to man, ‘The fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to stay away from evil is understanding.’”

And to the human beings he said, ‘Look, the fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.’”

And he said to the human race, ‘The fear of the Lord – that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.’
