et dignum ducis super huiuscemodi aperire oculos tuos et adducere eum tecum in iudicium
And does you open your eyes on such an one, and bring me into judgment with you?
And do you open your eyes upon such a one, and bring me into judgment with you?
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?
And do You open Your eyes on such a one, And bring me to judgment with Yourself?
And dost Thou open Thine eyes upon such a one, and bringest me into judgment with Thee?
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such a one, And bringest me into judgment with thee?
Yet dost thou open thine eyes upon such a one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?
And dost thou think it meet to open thy eyes upon such an one, and to bring him into judgment with thee?
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?
And do you open your eyes on such a one and bring me into judgment with you?
You observe this and call me to account to you.
Do You really take notice of one like this? Will You bring me into judgment against You?
Indeed, have you opened your eyes on one like this— to bring me into a legal fight with you?
Do you fix your eye on such a one? And do you bring me before you for judgment?
"You also open Your eyes on him And bring him into judgment with Yourself.
Do you fix your eye on them? Will you bring them before you for judgment?
Must you keep an eye on such a frail creature and demand an accounting from me?
And dost thou open thy eyes upon such one, and bring me into judgment with thee?
Do you open your eyes on such a one, and bring me into judgment with you?
I am only a human like that, so why do you watch me so carefully? Why do you want to bring me into a court to judge me?
Also -- on this Thou hast opened Thine eyes, And dost bring me into judgment with Thee.
You open Your eyes on him and decide about him.
Lord, is this why You turn Your gaze on such a creature: to bring me, a mere human being, alongside You for judgment?
Must you be so harsh with frail men and demand an accounting from them?
Is it upon a creature like this that you fix your gaze and bring him before you to be judged?
You also open Your eyes on him And bring me into judgment with Yourself.
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such a one and bring me into judgment with thee?
Do you really take notice of one like this? Will you bring me into judgment against you?
And [Lord] do You open Your eyes upon such a one, and bring me into judgment with You?
Lord, do you need to watch me like this? Must you bring me before you to be judged?
“We’re all adrift in the same boat: too few days, too many troubles. We spring up like wildflowers in the desert and then wilt, transient as the shadow of a cloud. Do you occupy your time with such fragile wisps? Why even bother hauling me into court? There’s nothing much to us to start with; how do you expect us to amount to anything? Mortals have a limited life span. You’ve already decided how long we’ll live— you set the boundary and no one can cross it. So why not give us a break? Ease up! Even ditchdiggers get occasional days off. For a tree there is always hope. Chop it down and it still has a chance— its roots can put out fresh sprouts. Even if its roots are old and gnarled, its stump long dormant, At the first whiff of water it comes to life, buds and grows like a sapling. But men and women? They die and stay dead. They breathe their last, and that’s it. Like lakes and rivers that have dried up, parched reminders of what once was, So mortals lie down and never get up, never wake up again—never. Why don’t you just bury me alive, get me out of the way until your anger cools? But don’t leave me there! Set a date when you’ll see me again. If we humans die, will we live again? That’s my question. All through these difficult days I keep hoping, waiting for the final change—for resurrection! Homesick with longing for the creature you made, you’ll call—and I’ll answer! You’ll watch over every step I take, but you won’t keep track of my missteps. My sins will be stuffed in a sack and thrown into the sea—sunk in deep ocean.
You keep your eye on such a man. You bring me into judgment in your presence.
Do you fix your eyes on such a one? Do you bring me into judgment with you?
Will you even look at me, God, or put me on trial and judge me?
And guessest thou (it a) worthy thing to open thine eyes upon such a man; and to bring him into doom with thee? (And thinkest thou that it is worthwhile to look upon such a person; and to bring him into court, or unto judgement, with thee?)
And so, I ask you, God, why pick on me?
And dost thou open thy eyes upon such a one and bring him into judgment with thee?
Do you fix your eyes on such a one? Do you bring me into judgment with you?
Do you fix your eyes on such a one? Do you bring me into judgement with you?
( Yes, you open your eyes on this one; you bring me into trial against you.)
“You also open Your eyes upon him And bring him into judgment with Yourself.
And do you open your eyes on such a one and bring me into judgement with you?
Upon such a one will you set your eyes, bringing me into judgment before you?
You also open Your eyes on him And bring him into judgment with Yourself.
Lord, do you need to watch me like this? Must you bring me before you to be judged?
Do You fix Your eyes on such a one, and bring me for judgment with You?
And dost thou open thy eyes upon such a one and bring him into judgment with thee?
“God, do you even notice them? Will you let them appear in your court?
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?
You fix your eyes on a creature like this? You drag him to court with you?
Do you fix your eyes on such a one? Do you bring me into judgement with you?
And doth Thou open Thine eyes upon such a one, and bringest me into mishpat with Thee?
You observe this and call me to account to you.
Do You open Your eyes on such a one, and bring me into judgment with You?
God, do you need to keep an eye on something so small? Why bother to bring charges against me?
Lord, do you need to watch someone like this? Do you need to bring him before you to be judged?
Even on such a one you fix your eyes, and you bring me into judgment with you.
Do you fix your eye on them? Will you bring them before you for judgment?
