They aren't really provoking me," declares the LORD. "But they are [harming] themselves to their own shame.
But are they really provoking Me?" This is the LORD's declaration. "Isn't it they themselves being provoked to disgrace?"
Are they provoking me?" asks the LORD. "Is it not themselves, and to their own shame?"
But I am not really the one being troubled!" says the LORD. "Rather they are bringing trouble on themselves to their own shame!
"Do they spite Me?" declares the LORD. "Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?"
But am I the one they are provoking? declares the LORD. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?
Am I the one they are hurting?" asks the LORD. "Most of all, they hurt themselves, to their own shame."
Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
Do they provoke me to anger? says Yahweh; [do they] not [provoke] themselves, to the confusion of their own faces?
But they are not hurting me. They are hurting themselves, and they will be ashamed.’ That is what the Lord says.
Me are they provoking to anger? an affirmation of Jehovah, Is it not themselves, For the shame of their own faces?
Do they make Me angry?” says the Lord. “Is it not themselves they hurt, to their own shame?”
What they are doing doesn’t hurt me; it only hurts them, to their own disgrace.
Am I the one that they are hurting? asks the Lord. Most of all they hurt themselves, to their own shame.
But am I the one whom they hurt? asks the Lord. Is it not rather themselves, to their own shame?
Do they provoke Me?” declares Yahweh. “Is it not themselves they provoke to the shame of their own face?”
Shall they provoke me to anger? said the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
But are they really provoking me?” This is the Lord’s declaration. “Isn’t it they themselves being provoked to disgrace?”
Am I the One Whom they provoke to anger? says the Lord. Is it not themselves [whom they provoke], to their own confusion and vexation and to their own shame?
But I am not the one the people of Judah are really hurting, says the Lord. They are only hurting themselves and bringing shame upon themselves.
“But is it me they’re hurting?” God’s Decree! “Aren’t they just hurting themselves? Exposing themselves shamefully? Making themselves ridiculous?
Am I the one they are frustrating? declares the Lord. No, they are frustrating themselves, to their own shame.
Is it I whom they provoke? says the Lord. Is it not themselves, to their own hurt?
But am I really the one they are hurting? No, they are hurting themselves and bringing shame on themselves.
Whether they stir me to wrathfulness? saith the Lord; whether they stir not themselves into [the] shame of their cheer? (Do they hurt me? saith the Lord; rather, do they not cover themselves with shame?)
But they are not only insulting me; they are also harming themselves by doing these shameful things.
Is it I whom they provoke? says the Lord. Is it not themselves, to their own confusion?

But am I the one they are really offending? declares the Lord. Aren’t they in fact humiliating themselves?
Do they offend and provoke Me to anger?” says the Lord. “Is it not themselves [they offend], to their own shame?”

Are they really offending me—oracle of the Lord—or rather themselves, to their own disgrace?

But am I the one they are hurting?” announces the Lord. “Aren’t they only harming themselves? They should be ashamed of it.”
Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
Are they really provoking me,” asks Adonai, “or are they provoking themselves, to their own ruin?”
Is it I whom they provoke? says the Lord. Is it not themselves, to their own hurt?
Do they provoke Me to anger? saith Hashem; are they not provoking themselves, even to boshet (shame) on their own faces?
They aren’t really provoking me,” declares Yahweh. “But they are harming themselves to their own shame.

But I am not the one they are really hurting.” This message is from the Lord. “They are only hurting themselves. They are bringing shame on themselves.”

Are they provoking me to anger? ” declares Yahweh, “Is it not themselves they hurt, for the sake of the shame of their faces?”
