And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labors they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.
And Ephraim said, Yet I have become rich, I have found myself wealth: in all my labors they shall find no iniquity in me that is sin.
And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.

And Ephraim said, Surely I am become rich, I have found me wealth: in all my labors they shall find in me no iniquity that were sin.
And Ephraim saith, Nevertheless I am become rich, I have found me out substance; in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.
And Ephraim said: But yet I am be- come rich, I have found me an idol: all my labours shall not find me the iniquity that I have committed.
And Ephraim said, Surely I am become rich, I have found me wealth: in all my labours they shall find in me none iniquity that were sin.
Ephraim has said, “Ah, but I am rich; I have found wealth for myself; in all my labors they cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”
The people of Ephraim say, 'We're rich. We've made a fortune. With all this wealth, no one will find us guilty of any sin.'
But Ephraim says:" How rich I have become; I made it all myself. In all my earnings, no one can find any crime in me that I can be punished for!"
Ephraim claims, 'I have become rich, I have made a fortune! Because of all my wealth, no one will find any iniquity or sin in me.'
Ephraim boasts, "I am very rich! I have become wealthy! In all that I have done to gain my wealth, no one can accuse me of any offense that is actually sinful."
And Ephraim said, "Surely I have become rich, I have found wealth for myself; In all my labors they will find in me No iniquity, which would be sin."
Ephraim boasts, "I am very rich; I have become wealthy. With all my wealth they will not find in me any iniquity or sin."
Israel boasts, "I am rich! I've made a fortune all by myself! No one has caught me cheating! My record is spotless!"
And Ephraim said, Yet I have become rich, I have found for myself substance: in all my labors they shall find no iniquity in me that were sin.
Ephraim said, "Surely I have become rich, I have found myself wealth. In all my wealth they won't find in me any iniquity that is sin."
Ephraim's people proudly say, ‘We are rich! We have become very rich! In all the ways that we have found riches, nobody can accuse us. We have not really done anything that is a sin!’
And Ephraim saith: `Surely I have become rich, I have found wealth for myself, All my labours -- they find not against me iniquity that [is] sin.'
Ephraim has said, “I have become rich. I have found riches for myself. With all my riches they will not find any sin in me.”
Ephraim gloats, “I’ve gotten rich! I’ve made a fortune for myself! And in all my dealings no one can charge me with iniquity and dishonesty.”
Ephraim boasts, “I am so rich! I have gotten it all by myself!” But riches can’t make up for sin.
Merchants use dishonest scales, for they love to defraud.
And Ephraim said, “Surely I have become rich; I have found wealth for myself; In all my labors they will find in me No iniquity, which would be sin.”
And Ephraim said, Surely I have become rich, I have found riches for myself; no one shall find iniquity in me, nor sin in all my labours.
But Ephraim thinks, “How rich I have become; I made it all myself. In all my earnings, no one can find any iniquity in me that I can be punished for!”
Ephraim has said, Ah, but I have become rich; I have gained for myself wealth. All my profits shall bring on me no iniquity that would be sin. [But all his profits will never offset nor suffice to expiate the guilt which he has incurred.]
Israel said, “I am rich! I am someone with power!” All their money will do them no good because of the sins they have done.
The businessmen engage in wholesale fraud. They love to rip people off! Ephraim boasted, “Look, I’m rich! I’ve made it big! And look how well I’ve covered my tracks: not a hint of fraud, not a sign of sin!”
Ephraim said, “Surely I have become rich. I have secured wealth for myself. Among all my possessions no one will find anything that makes me guilty of sin.”
Ephraim has said, “Ah, I am rich, I have gained wealth for myself; in all of my gain no offense has been found in me that would be sin.”
‘We are rich,’ they say. ‘We've made a fortune. And no one can accuse us of getting rich dishonestly.’
And Ephraim said, Nevertheless I am made rich, I have found an idol to me; all my travails shall not find to me the wickedness, which I sinned. (And Ephraim said, Nevertheless I am made rich, I have made my fortune; and in all my labours no one shall not find any wickedness in me, by which I have sinned.)
You say to yourself, “I'm rich! I earned it all on my own, without committing a sin.”
E′phraim has said, “Ah, but I am rich, I have gained wealth for myself”; but all his riches can never offset the guilt he has incurred.
Ephraim has said, “Ah, I am rich; I have gained wealth for myself; in all of my gain no offense has been found in me that would be sin.”
Ephraim has said, ‘Ah, I am rich, I have gained wealth for myself; in all of my gain no offence has been found in me that would be sin.’
Ephraim has said, “I’m rich, I’ve gained wealth for myself; in all of my gain no offense has been found in me that would be sin.”
Ephraim said, “I have indeed become rich [and powerful as a nation]; I have found wealth for myself. In all my labors they will not find in me Any wickedness that would be sin.”
Ephraim has said, “Ah, but I am rich; I have found wealth for myself; in all my labours they cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”
A merchant who holds a false balance, he loves to extort!
And Ephraim said, “I have certainly become rich, I have found wealth for myself; In all my labors they will find in me No wrongdoing, which would be sin.”
·Israel [L Ephraim; 4:17] said, “I am rich! I ·am someone with power [have made my fortune]!” ·All their money will do them no good because of the sins they have done [or “With all the wealth I’ve gained, no one can accuse me of sin”; C either self-vindication (continuing the quotation), or the prophet’s pronouncement of guilt].
A merchant loves to extort, with deceptive balances in his hand.
E′phraim has said, “Ah, but I am rich, I have gained wealth for myself”; but all his riches can never offset the guilt he has incurred.
People of Ephraim, you brag, “We are very rich. We’ve become wealthy. And no one can prove we sinned to gain all this wealth.”
And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.
“A huckster keeps false scales, and he loves to cheat.
Ephraim has said, ‘Ah, I am rich, I have gained wealth for myself; in all of my gain no offence has been found in me that would be sin.’
And Ephrayim boasts, Yet I am become an oisher, I have found me out wealth; in all my gain they shall find none avon (iniquity, offense) in me that would be chet (sin).
The people of Ephraim say, ‘We’re rich. We’ve made a fortune. With all this wealth, no one will find us guilty of any sin.’
Ephraim said, “Yet I am rich, I have found wealth for myself. In all my labors, they shall find no offense in me that would be sin.”
Ephraim said, ‘I am rich! I have found true riches! No one will learn about my crimes. No one will learn about my sins.’
The people of Israel brag that they are rich. They think that because they are rich no one will learn about their sins.
And Ephraim said, “Surely, I am rich, I gained wealth for myself; in all my toil they have not found guilt in me that is sin.
Ephraim boasts, ‘I am very rich; I have become wealthy. With all my wealth they will not find in me any iniquity or sin.’
