And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the middle of the sea?

And they shall take up a mournful song for thee, and snail lament thee: What city is like Tyre, which is become silent in the midst of the sea?
And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, Who is there like Tyre, like her that is brought to silence in the midst of the sea?
In their wailing they raise a lamentation for you and lament over you: ‘Who is like Tyre, like one destroyed in the midst of the sea?
They sang a funeral song for you with loud crying: "Who is like Tyre, the city destroyed in the sea?"
In their wailing they lament for you, mourning over you: Who was like Tyre, silenced in the middle of the sea?
In the depth of their despair they'll compose a lament for you. This is what they'll say: 'Who is like Tyre? Who is so silent in the midst of the sea?'
As they wail they will lament over you, chanting: "Who was like Tyre, like a tower in the midst of the sea?"
"Moreover, in their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you And lament over you: 'Who is like Tyre, Like her who is silent in the midst of the sea?
As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament concerning you: "Who was ever silenced like Tyre, surrounded by the sea?"
As they wail and mourn over you, they sing this sad funeral song: 'Was there ever such a city as Tyre, now silent at the bottom of the sea?
And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyre, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
In their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, [saying], Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the midst of the sea?
As they weep, they will sing this funeral song about you: ‘Tyre was the greatest city. But now it lies at the bottom of the sea and nobody knows that it is there.’
And lifted up for thee have their sons a lamentation, And they have lamented over thee, who [is] as Tyre? As the cut-off one in the midst of the sea?
In their crying they will sing a song of sorrow for you, saying, ‘Who is like Tyre, destroyed and quiet in the sea?
And they shout their dirge over your demise: “Who is like Tyre, sunken and silent in the heart of the sea?”
“‘And this is the song of their sorrow: “Where in all the world was there ever such a wondrous city as Tyre, destroyed in the midst of the sea?
In their mourning, they will raise a dirge and lament over you: Who was ever destroyed like Tyre in the midst of the sea?
Moreover, in their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you And lament over you: ‘Who is like Tyre, Like her who is silent in the midst of the sea?
And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee and lament over thee, saying, Who is like Tyre, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
“‘In their wailing they lament for you, mourning over you: “Who was like Tyre, silenced in the middle of the sea?
And in their wailing they take up a lamentation for you and lament over you, saying, Who was ever like Tyre, the destroyed (the annihilated), [who has become so still] in the heart of the sea?
And in their loud crying they sing a funeral song for you: “No one was ever destroyed like Tyre, surrounded by the sea.”
“‘Your sailors row mightily, taking you into the high seas. Then a storm out of the east shatters your ship in the ocean deep. Everything sinks—your rich goods and products, sailors and crew, ship’s carpenters and soldiers, Sink to the bottom of the sea. Total shipwreck. The cries of your sailors reverberate on shore. Sailors everywhere abandon ship. Veteran seamen swim for dry land. They cry out in grief, a choir of bitter lament over you. They smear their faces with ashes, shave their heads, Wear rough burlap, wildly keening their loss. They raise their funeral song: “Who on the high seas is like Tyre!”
In their grief, they will raise a lament over you. They utter this lament over you, “Who is like Tyre, now silenced in the midst of the sea?”
In their wailing they raise a lamentation for you, and lament over you: “Who was ever destroyed like Tyre in the midst of the sea?
They chant a funeral song for you: ‘Who can be compared to Tyre, To Tyre now silent in the sea?
And they shall take on thee a song of mourning, and they shall bewail thee, (and say,) Who is as Tyre, that was dumb in the midst of the sea? (And they shall take up a song of mourning for thee, and they shall bewail thee, and say, Who is like Tyre, that now is silent in the midst of the sea?)
In their grief they sing a funeral song for you: “Tyre, you were greater than all other cities. But now you lie in silence at the bottom of the sea.
In their wailing they raise a lamentation for you, and lament over you: ‘Who was ever destroyed like Tyre in the midst of the sea?

“In their wailing they will take up a dirge (funeral poem to be sung) for you And sing a dirge for you: ‘Who is like Tyre, Like her who is silent [destroyed] in the midst of the sea?
In their wailing they raise a lamentation for you and lament over you: ‘Who is like Tyre, like one destroyed in the midst of the sea?
They raise a lament for you; they wail over you: “Who was ever destroyed like Tyre in the midst of the sea?”
Moreover, in their wailing they will take up a song of mourning for you And sing a song of mourning over you: ‘Who is like Tyre, Like her who is silent in the midst of the sea?
And in their ·loud crying [wailing] they sing a ·funeral song [lament; dirge] for you: “·No one was ever destroyed [L Who was…?] like Tyre, ·surrounded by [or like a tower in the middle of; or now silent in the midst of] the sea.”
In their wailing they will take up a lament for you. They will mourn over you: “Who was like Tyre— silenced in the midst of the sea?”
In their wailing they raise a lamentation for you, and lament over you: ‘Who was ever destroyed like Tyre in the midst of the sea?
As they weep and mourn over you, they will sing a song of sadness about you. They will say, ‘Who was ever like Tyre? It was destroyed in the sea.’
And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
Wailing, they will raise a lament for you; this will be their lament for you: “‘“Who anywhere in the sea has ever been silenced like Tzor?
In their wailing they raise a lamentation for you, and lament over you: ‘Who was ever destroyed like Tyre in the midst of the sea?
And in their wailing they shall take up a kinah (lamentation) for thee, and lament over thee, saying, Who is like Tzor, like the destroyed in the midst of the yam?
They sang a funeral song for you with loud crying: “Who is like Tyre, the city destroyed in the sea?”
Also, in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you and lament over you, saying, “Who is like Tyre, like her who is silent in the midst of the sea?
“‘And in their loud crying they will sing this sad song about you: “‘No one is like Tyre! Tyre is destroyed, in the middle of the sea!
And in their loud crying they will sing a funeral song for you. “No one was ever destroyed like Tyre, surrounded by the sea.”
And they will raise over you with their wailing a lament, and they will chant a lament over you: ‘Who is like Tyre, like this destruction in the midst of the sea?’
As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament concerning you: ‘Who was ever silenced like Tyre, surrounded by the sea?’
