Here’s my advice: keep what comes from the king’s mouth; after all, this matter is really an oath from God.
Obey the king as you have vowed to do. Don’t always be trying to get out of doing your duty, even when it’s unpleasant. For the king punishes those who disobey.
Obey the command of the king because of your sacred oath,
I say, “Keep the command of the king because of the sworn oath before God.
I counsel thee to keep the king’s commandment and the word of the covenant that thou hast made with God.

I counsel you to keep the king’s command, and that in regard to the oath of God [by which you swore to him loyalty].
Obey the king’s command, because you made a promise to God.
Do what your king commands; you gave a sacred oath of obedience. Don’t worryingly second-guess your orders or try to back out when the task is unpleasant. You’re serving his pleasure, not yours. The king has the last word. Who dares say to him, “What are you doing?” Carrying out orders won’t hurt you a bit; the wise person obeys promptly and accurately. Yes, there’s a right time and way for everything, even though, unfortunately, we miss it for the most part. It’s true that no one knows what’s going to happen, or when. Who’s around to tell us?
Obey the king’s command because of your oath before God.
Keep the king’s command because of your sacred oath.
Do what the king says, and don't make any rash promises to God.
I keep the mouth of the king, and the commandments and [the] swearings of God. (I counsel, or advice, thee to obey the king’s commands, and to keep your oath, or your pledge, to God.)
If you promised God that you would be loyal to the king, I advise you to keep that promise.
Keep the king’s command, and because of your sacred oath be not dismayed;
