Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
These men said, "We won't find anything to accuse this man, Daniel, unless we find it in his religious practices."
Then these men said, "We will never find any charge against this Daniel unless we find something against him concerning the law of his God."
So these men said, "We'll never find any basis for complaint against Daniel unless we build it on the requirements of his God."
So these men concluded, "We won't find any pretext against this man Daniel unless it is in connection with the law of his God."
Then these men said, "We will not find any ground of accusation against this Daniel unless we find it against him with regard to the law of his God."
Finally these men said, "We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God."
So they concluded, "Our only chance of finding grounds for accusing Daniel will be in connection with the rules of his religion."
Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Then these men said, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Then these men said to each other, ‘We cannot find anything that Daniel does wrong in his work. We must find something that he does to obey the laws of his God.’
Then these men are saying, `We do not find against this Daniel any cause of complaint, except we have found [it] against him in the law of his God.'
Then these men said, “We will not find anything to say against Daniel unless it has to do with the Law of his God.”
Conspirators: We will never find any credible basis for charges against Daniel for how he conducts his office. Perhaps we can uncover some suitable charge in regard to the law of his God.
So they concluded, “Our only chance is his religion!”
Therefore, the administrators and the satraps tried to find some grounds upon which they could bring charges against Daniel. But they could find no basis for complaint or the slightest evidence of corruption on his part, because he was so faithful in performing his duties that there was no possibility of charging him with negligence or corruption.
Then these men said, “We will not find any ground of accusation against this Daniel unless we find it against him with regard to the law of his God.”
Then these men said, We shall never find any occasion against this Daniel except we find it against him in the law of his God.
Then these men said, “We will never find any charge against this Daniel unless we find something against him concerning the law of his God.”
Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion [to bring accusation] against this Daniel except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Finally these men said, “We will never find any reason to accuse Daniel unless it is about the law of his God.”
The vice-regents and governors got together to find some old scandal or skeleton in Daniel’s life that they could use against him, but they couldn’t dig up anything. He was totally exemplary and trustworthy. They could find no evidence of negligence or misconduct. So they finally gave up and said, “We’re never going to find anything against this Daniel unless we can scheme up something religious.”
Then these men said, “We will not find any accusation to bring against this Daniel unless we find something against him concerning the law of his God.”
The men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
They said to each other, “We are not going to find anything of which to accuse Daniel unless it is something in connection with his religion.”
Therefore those men said, We shall not find any occasion to this Daniel, no but in hap in the law of his God. (And so those men said, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except perhaps in regard to the Law of his God.)
Finally, they said to one another, “We will never be able to bring any charge against Daniel, unless it has to do with his religion.”
Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
The men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
The men said, ‘We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.’
So these men said, “We won’t find any fault in Daniel, unless we can find something to use against him from his religious practice.”
Then these men said, “We will not find any basis for an accusation against this Daniel unless we find something against him in connection with the law of his God.”
Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
Then the ministers and satraps tried to find grounds for accusation against Daniel regarding the kingdom. But they could not accuse him of any corruption. Because he was trustworthy, no fault or corruption was to be found in him.
Then these men said, “We will not find any ground of accusation against this Daniel unless we find it against him regarding the law of his God.”
Finally these men said, “We will never find any reason to accuse Daniel unless it is about the law of his God.”
At this time the supervisors and satraps tried to find ground for a charge against Daniel regarding the kingdom. But they were unable to find fault or corruption, because he was trustworthy and no negligence or dishonesty could be found in him.
Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
Finally these men said, “We want to bring charges against this man Daniel. But it’s almost impossible for us to come up with a reason to do it. If we find a reason, it will have to be in connection with the law of his God.”
Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
The other chiefs and the viceroys tried to find a cause for complaint against Dani’el in regard to how he performed his governing duties, but they could find nothing to complain about, no fault; on the contrary, because he was so faithful, not a single instance of negligence or faulty administration could be found.
The men said, ‘We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.’
Then said these anashim, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the dat (law, religion) of his G-d.
These men said, “We won’t find anything to accuse this man, Daniel, unless we find it in his religious practices.”
Then these men said, “We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”
Finally, they said, “We will never find any reason to accuse Daniel of doing something wrong. So we must find something to complain about that is connected to the law of his God.”
Finally these men said, “We will never find any reason to accuse Daniel. But we must find something to complain about. It will have to be about the law of his God.”
Then these men said, “We will not find any pretext against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
Finally these men said, ‘We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.’
