Nebuchadnezzar (to his advisors): I’ve had a dream that has disturbed me. I know I am not going to have any peace until I know what it means.
One night in the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had a terrifying nightmare and awoke trembling with fear. And to make matters worse, he couldn’t remember his dream! He immediately called in all his magicians, incantationists, sorcerers, and astrologers, and demanded that they tell him what his dream had been. “I’ve had a terrible nightmare,” he said as they stood before him, “and I can’t remember what it was. Tell me, for I fear some tragedy awaits me.”
he said to them, “I have had a dream, and my mind is troubled because I have been unable to interpret it.”
Then the king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”
And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.
he said to them, “I have had a dream and am anxious to understand it.”
And the king said to them, I had a dream and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.
Then the king said to them, “I had a dream that bothers me, and I want to know what it means.”
In the second year of his reign, King Nebuchadnezzar started having dreams that disturbed him deeply. He couldn’t sleep. He called in all the Babylonian magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and fortunetellers to interpret his dreams for him. When they came and lined up before the king, he said to them, “I had a dream that I can’t get out of my mind. I can’t sleep until I know what it means.”
The king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit was troubled because I did not understand the dream.”
he said to them, “I have had such a dream that my spirit is troubled by the desire to understand it.”
he said to them, “I'm worried about a dream I've had. I want to know what it means.”
And the king said to them, I saw a dream, and I am shamed in mind, and I know not what I saw. (And the king said to them, I had a dream, and I am confused, and I do not know what I saw/and I do not know what it meant.)
and said, “I am disturbed by a dream that I don't understand, and I want you to explain it.”
And the king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”
he said to them, “I have had such a dream that my spirit is troubled by the desire to understand it.”
he said to them, ‘I have had such a dream that my spirit is troubled by the desire to understand it.’
Then the king said to them: “I had a dream, and I’m anxious to know its meaning.”
The king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled and anxious to know the [content and meaning of the] dream.”
And the king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”
he said to them, “I had a dream which will allow my spirit no rest until I know what it means.”
The king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to understand the dream.”
Then the king said to them, “I had a dream ·that bothers me [L and my spirit is agitated], and I want to know ·what it means [L the dream].”
he said to them, “I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit is anxious to understand the dream.”
And the king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”
He said to them, “I had a dream. It troubles me. So I want to know what it means.”
And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.
The king said to them, “I had a dream which will keep troubling my spirit until I know what it means.”
he said to them, ‘I have had such a dream that my spirit is troubled by the desire to understand it.’
And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a chalom (dream) and my ruach was troubled to have da’as of the chalom (dream).
The king said to them, “I had a dream, and I’m troubled by it. I want to know what the dream was.”
The king said to them, “I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to understand the dream.”
Then the king said to them, “I had a dream that bothers me. I want to know what it means.”
Then the king said to them, “I had a dream that bothers me. I want to know what the dream means.”
And the king said to them, “I have had a dream and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.”
he said to them, ‘I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means.’
