Because of this, someone might say that God is not fair. No! We should never say that!

What about it then? Can we say that God is not fair? No, not at all!
What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Absolutely not!
So how do we talk about that? Are God’s dealings unjust? Absolutely not!
Was God being unfair? Of course not.
What then are we to say to that? Has God been unjust? Of course not!
What shall we say then? Is there any unrighteousness with God? May it never be!
What shall we say then? Is there injustice in God? No, in no wise.
What should we say then? Is there injustice with God? Absolutely not!
What shall we conclude then? Is there injustice upon God’s part? Certainly not!
So what should we say about this? Is God unfair? In no way.
Is that grounds for complaining that God is unfair? Not so fast, please. God told Moses, “I’m in charge of mercy. I’m in charge of compassion.” Compassion doesn’t originate in our bleeding hearts or moral sweat, but in God’s mercy. The same point was made when God said to Pharaoh, “I picked you as a bit player in this drama of my salvation power.” All we’re saying is that God has the first word, initiating the action in which we play our part for better or worse.
What will we say then? Does this mean that God is unjust? Absolutely not!
What then shall we say? Is there not injustice on God’s part? · By no means!
What then are we to say? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means!
What shall we say then? Is there any unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
Shall we say, then, that God is unjust? Not at all.
What therefore shall we say? Whether wickedness be with God? God forbid [Far be it].
So what are we going to say? Is God unjust? Certainly not!
Are we saying God is unfair? Certainly not!
What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means!
Now do we conclude that God is monstrously unfair? Never! God said long ago to Moses: ‘I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion’.
What then are we to say? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means!

So what are we going to say? Isn’t this unfair on God’s part? Absolutely not!

What then are we to say? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means!
What then shall we say? There is no avla (injustice) with G-d, is there? Chas v’shalom!
What can we say—that God is unfair? That’s unthinkable!
What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid!
So what does this mean? That God is not fair? We cannot say that.
So what should we say about this? Is God unfair? In no way.
What then shall we say? There is no injustice with God, is there? May it never be!
What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all!
Therefore what shall we say? There is not unrighteousness with God, is there? May it never be!
