video autem aliam legem in membris meis repugnantem legi mentis meae et captivantem me in lege peccati quae est in membris meis
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.
I saw another law in my members that makes war against the law of my conscience and takes me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.
but I see another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members.
But I see another law in my members, fighting against the law of my mind, and captivating me in the law of sin, that is in my members.
but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.
but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
However, I see a different standard [at work] throughout my body. It is at war with the standards my mind sets and tries to take me captive to sin's standards which still exist throughout my body.
But I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.
but I see in my body a different principle waging war with the Law in my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin that exists in my body.
But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.
but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.
but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.
But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.
But I see another law in my members warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
but I discover within me a different Law at war with the Law of my understanding, and leading me captive to the Law which is everywhere at work in my body--the Law of sin.
but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.
So my mind tells me to obey God's laws. But my body wants to make me do something else. Every part of me fights against what my mind tells me to do. Sin has power over my body so that I am like a prisoner.
and I behold another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of the sin that [is] in my members.
But there is a different law at work deep inside of me that fights with my mind. This law of sin holds me in its power because sin is still in me.
But I see another law in my limbs, rebelling against the law of my mind, and leading me captive to the law of sin, which is in my limbs.
but the rest of me does not concur. I see a very different principle at work in my bodily members, and it is at war with my mind; I have become a prisoner in this war to the rule of sin in my body.
but there is something else deep within me, in my lower nature, that is at war with my mind and wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. In my mind I want to be God’s willing servant, but instead I find myself still enslaved to sin. So you see how it is: my new life tells me to do right, but the old nature that is still inside me loves to sin. Oh, what a terrible predicament I’m in! Who will free me from my slavery to this deadly lower nature? Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free.
but I perceive in the members of my body another law at war with the Law that I cherish in my mind. Thus, I am made captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
but I see a different law in my members, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a captive to the law of sin which is in my members.
but I see another law in my members which rebels against the law of my mind, bringing captive unto the law of sin which is in my members.
but I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.
But I discern in my bodily members [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh].
But I see another law working in my body, which makes war against the law that my mind accepts. That other law working in my body is the law of sin, and it makes me its prisoner.
It happens so regularly that it’s predictable. The moment I decide to do good, sin is there to trip me up. I truly delight in God’s commands, but it’s pretty obvious that not all of me joins in that delight. Parts of me covertly rebel, and just when I least expect it, they take charge.
but I see a different law at work in my members, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me captive to the law of sin, which is present in my members.
but I see a different law in · my members; it wages war against the law of my mind and makes me captive to the law of sin · dwelling in · my members.
but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
but I see another law in my members, rebelling against the law of my mind, and subduing me to the law of sin that is in my members.
But I see a different law at work in my body—a law that fights against the law which my mind approves of. It makes me a prisoner to the law of sin which is at work in my body.
But I see another law in my members, fighting against the law of my soul, and making me captive in the law of sin, that is in my members.
but I see another “law” in my limbs and organs, fighting a battle against the law of my mind, and taking me off into captivity in the law of sin which is in my limbs and organs.
But in every part of me I discover something fighting against my mind, and it makes me a prisoner of sin that controls everything I do.
but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin which dwells in my members.
When I come up against the Law I want to do good, but in practice I do evil. My conscious mind whole-heartedly endorses the Law, yet I observe an entirely different principle at work in my nature. This is in continual conflict with my conscious attitude, and makes me an unwilling prisoner to the law of sin and death. In my mind I am God’s willing servant, but in my own nature I am bound fast, as I say, to the law of sin and death. It is an agonising situation, and who on earth can set me free from the clutches of my sinful nature? I thank God there is a way out through Jesus Christ our Lord.
but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
but I see a different law at work in my body. It wages a war against the law of my mind and takes me prisoner with the law of sin that is in my body.
but I see a different law and rule of action in the members of my body [in its appetites and desires], waging war against the law of my mind and subduing me and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is within my members.
but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
but I see in my members another principle at war with the law of my mind, taking me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
but I see a different law in the parts of my body waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin, the law which is in my body’s parts.
But I see ·another law [a different standard; or another power] working in my ·body [or outward actions; L members; parts], which makes war against the ·law [standards] that my mind accepts. That other ·law [standard; or power] working in my ·body [or outward actions; L members; parts] is the law of sin, and it makes me its prisoner.
but I see a different law in my body parts, battling against the law of my mind and bringing me into bondage under the law of sin which is in my body parts.
but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin which dwells in my members.
But I see another law working in me. It fights against the law of my mind. It makes me a prisoner of the law of sin. That law controls me.
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
but in my various parts, I see a different “torah,” one that battles with the Torah in my mind and makes me a prisoner of sin’s “torah,” which is operating in my various parts.
But I see that in my body there is another law fighting against the law in my mind. And that makes me like a prisoner to the law of wrong things in my body.
but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
But I see another Chok (decree, law) in my natural capacities at milchamah (war) with the Torah of my mind and making me a prisoner to the Chok (law) of Chet (Sin) which is [a power] in my natural capacities.
However, I see a different standard at work throughout my body. It is at war with the standards my mind sets and tries to take me captive to sin’s standards which still exist throughout my body.
but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
But I see another law working in my body. That law makes war against the law that my mind accepts. That other law working in my body is the law of sin, and that law makes me its prisoner.
But I see another law working in my body. That law makes war against the law that my mind accepts. That other law working in my body is the law of sin, and that law makes me its prisoner.
but I observe another law in my members, at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that exists in my members.
but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.
But I am seeing a different law in my body-parts waging-war-against the law of my mind, and taking me captive under the law of sin existing in my body-parts.
