existimas autem hoc o homo qui iudicas eos qui talia agunt et facis ea quia tu effugies iudicium Dei
And think you this, O man, that judge them which do such things, and do the same, that you shall escape the judgment of God?
And do you think, O man, that judge them who do such things, and do the same, that you shall escape the judgment of God?
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
And thinkest thou this, O man, who judgest those who do such things and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
But why are you thinking, Oh son of man, who are judging those who are occupied in these things, that you will escape from the judgment of God, when you also are engaged in them?
And thinkest thou this, O man, who judgest those that do such things, and practisest them thyself, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them who do such things, and dost the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God?
When you judge people for doing these things but then do them yourself, do you think you will escape God's judgment?
Do you really think--anyone of you who judges those who do such things yet do the same--that you will escape God's judgment?
So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on those who practice these things and then do them yourself, do you think you will escape God's judgment?
And do you think, whoever you are, when you judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape God's judgment?
But do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God?
So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?
Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God's judgment when you do the same things?
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them who do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
And you who pronounce judgement upon those who do such things although your own conduct is the same as theirs--do you imagine that you yourself will escape unpunished when God judges?
Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
I ask each of you again: ‘Do you speak against people who do bad things, but you do those same bad things yourself?’ Then God will certainly punish you and you will not go free.
And dost thou think this, O man, who art judging those who such things are practising, and art doing them, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Do you think God will punish others for doing wrong and let you keep sinning?
And do you think, O man - who judges those who do such things and yet does the same - that you shall escape the judgment of God?
Here’s what is happening: you attack and criticize others and then turn around to commit the same offenses yourselves! Do you think you will somehow dodge God’s judgment?
Do you think that God will judge and condemn others for doing them and overlook you when you do them, too?
How can you then suppose that you will escape the judgment of God for doing such things when you are condemning those who perform the same things?
But do you presume this, O man—who passes judgment on those who practice such things and does the same—that you will escape the judgment of God?
And dost thou think this, O man, that judgest those who do such things and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Do you think—anyone of you who judges those who do such things yet do the same—that you will escape God’s judgment?
And do you think or imagine, O man, when you judge and condemn those who practice such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape God’s judgment and elude His sentence and adverse verdict?
You judge those who do wrong, but you do wrong yourselves. Do you think you will be able to escape the judgment of God?
You didn’t think, did you, that just by pointing your finger at others you would distract God from seeing all your misdoings and from coming down on you hard? Or did you think that because he’s such a nice God, he’d let you off the hook? Better think this one through from the beginning. God is kind, but he’s not soft. In kindness he takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life-change.
Are you thinking that you will escape God’s judgment, you who judge those who do such things and then do the same things yourself?
Do you suppose, · this, whoever you are, when you judge those who practice · such things yet do them yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God?
Do you imagine, whoever you are, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God?
Do you think, O man, you who judge others who do such things, and yet do even the very same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
But you, my friend, do those very things for which you pass judgment on others! Do you think you will escape God's judgment?
But guessest thou, man, that deemest them that do such things, and thou doest those things [and thou doest them], that thou shalt escape the doom of God?
But if you judge those who do them and yet do them yourself, do you really suppose that you will escape God’s judgment?
Do you really think God won't punish you, when you behave exactly like the people you accuse?
Do you suppose, O man, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God?
Now if you feel inclined to set yourself up as a judge of those who sin, let me assure you, whoever you are, that you are in no position to do so. For at whatever point you condemn others you automatically condemn yourself, since you, the judge, commit the same sins. God’s judgment, we know, is utterly impartial in its action against such evil-doers. What makes you think that you who so readily judge the sins of others, can consider yourself beyond the judgment of God? Are you, perhaps, misinterpreting God’s generosity and patient mercy towards you as weakness on his part? Don’t you realise that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
Do you imagine, whoever you are, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God?
Do you imagine, whoever you are, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgement of God?
If you judge those who do these kinds of things while you do the same things yourself, think about this: Do you believe that you will escape God’s judgment?
But do you think this, O man, when you judge and condemn those who practice such things, and yet do the same yourself, that you will escape God’s judgment and elude His verdict?
Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practise such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgement of God?
Do you suppose, then, you who judge those who engage in such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God?
But do you suppose this, you foolish person who passes judgment on those who practice such things, and yet does them as well, that you will escape the judgment of God?
You judge those who do ·wrong [L such things], but you do ·wrong [L the same things] yourselves. Do you think [L O man,] you will be able to escape the judgment of God?
But you, O man—judging those practicing such things yet doing the same—do you suppose that you will escape the judgment of God?
Do you suppose, O man, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God?
Though you are only a human being, you judge others. But you yourself do the same things. So how do you think you will escape when God judges you?
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
do you think that you, a mere man passing judgment on others who do such things, yet doing them yourself, will escape the judgment of God?
Man, you judge people who do such things and yet you do them yourself. Do you think that God will not judge you?
Do you imagine, whoever you are, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgement of God?
You, sir, you who pass judgment on those who practice such things and yet do the same yourself, do you suppose then that you will escape the Mishpat Hashem?
When you judge people for doing these things but then do them yourself, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
Do you think, O man, who judges those who do such things, and who does the same thing, that you will escape the judgment of God?
And since you do the same things as those people you judge, surely you understand that God will punish you too. How could you think you would be able to escape his judgment?
You judge those who do wrong, but you do wrong yourselves. Do you think you will be able to escape the judgment of God?
But do you think this, O man who passes judgment on those who do such things, and who does the same things, that you will escape the judgment of God?
So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
But are you thinking this, O human— the one judging the ones practicing such things and doing them [yourself]— that you will escape the judgment of God?
