quia si cognovisses et tu et quidem in hac die tua quae ad pacem tibi nunc autem abscondita sunt ab oculis tuis

Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong to your peace! but now they are hid from your eyes.

Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace! but now they are hid from your eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, “If thou had known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which must be for thy peace! But now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

And he said, “If only now you had known those things that are of your peace, if even in this your day! But now these things are hidden from your eyes.”

saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, even at least in this thy day, the things that are for thy peace: but now they are hid from thine eyes;

If thou also hadst known, and that in this thy day, the things that are to thy peace; but now they are hidden from thy eyes.

saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

He said, "If you had only known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden, so you cannot see it.

saying, "If you knew this day what would bring peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes.

"If you had only known today what could have brought you peace! But now it is hidden from your sight,

saying, "If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, "If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes.

"How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong to thy peace! but now they are hid from thy eyes.

"O that at this time thou hadst known--yes even thou--what makes peace possible! But now it is hid from thine eyes.

saying, "If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.

He said, ‘You need to know what would really help you. Then you could have lived without trouble. But now, you are unable to understand properly.

saying -- `If thou didst know, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things for thy peace; but now they were hid from thine eyes.

He said, “If you had only known on this great day the things that make peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, “O, if you had known (even at the least, and on this your day) those things which belong to your peace! But now are they hidden from your eyes.

Jesus: How I wish you knew today what would bring peace! But you can’t see.

“Eternal peace was within your reach and you turned it down,” he wept, “and now it is too late.

saying, “If only you had recognized on this day what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your sight.

saying, “If you knew in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying, “If you knew this day what would bring peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Exclaiming, Would that you had known personally, even at least in this your day, the things that make for peace (for freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin and upon which your peace—your security, safety, prosperity, and happiness—depends)! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, “I wish you knew today what would bring you peace. But now it is hidden from you.

When the city came into view, he wept over it. “If you had only recognized this day, and everything that was good for you! But now it’s too late. In the days ahead your enemies are going to bring up their heavy artillery and surround you, pressing in from every side. They’ll smash you and your babies on the pavement. Not one stone will be left intact. All this because you didn’t recognize and welcome God’s personal visit.”

He said, “If you, yes you, had only known on this day the things that would bring peace to you. But now, it is hidden from your eyes.

saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on · this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, “If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, If only you had known those things that belong to your peace, at this your very time! But now they are hid from your eyes.

saying, “If you only knew today what is needed for peace! But now you cannot see it!

and said, For if thou haddest known, thou shouldest weep also; for in this day the things be in peace to thee, but now they be hid from thine eyes. [saying, For if thou haddest known, and thou, and soothly in this thy day, the which is to peace to thee; but now they be hid from thine eyes.]

“If only you’d known,” he said, “on this day—even you!—what peace meant. But now it’s hidden, and you can’t see it.

and said: It is too bad that today your people don't know what will bring them peace! Now it is hidden from them.

saying, “Would that even today you knew the things that make for peace! But now they are hid from your eyes.

And as he came still nearer to the city, he caught sight of it and wept over it, saying, “Ah, if you only knew, even at this eleventh hour, on what your peace depends—but you cannot see it. The time is coming when your enemies will encircle you with ramparts, surrounding you and hemming you in on every side. And they will hurl you and all your children to the ground—yes, they will not leave you one stone standing upon another—all because you did not know when God Himself was visiting you!”

saying, “If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, ‘If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

He said, “If only you knew on this of all days the things that lead to peace. But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, “If [only] you had known on this day [of salvation], even you, the things which make for peace [and on which peace depends]! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying, “If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

saying, “·I wish you [L If you, even you,] ·knew [recognized] today what would bring you peace. But now it is hidden from ·you [L your eyes].

saying, “If only you had recognized this day the things that lead to shalom! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, “Would that even today you knew the things that make for peace! But now they are hid from your eyes.

He said, “I wish you had known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying, “If you only knew today what is needed for shalom! But for now it is hidden from your sight.

He said, `I wish you knew today what things would give you peace! But now you do not see what they are.

saying, ‘If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

Saying, If you had only had daas in HaYom HaZeh of the things leading to shalom, but now it was nistar from your eyes.

He said, “If you had only known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden, so you cannot see it.

saying, “If you, even you, had known even today what things would bring you peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

and said, “I wish you knew today what would bring you peace. But it is hidden from you now.

Jesus said to Jerusalem, “I wish you knew today what would bring you peace! But you can’t know it, because it is hidden from you.

saying, “If you had known on this day—even you—the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

and said, ‘If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace – but now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying that “If you, even you, had known on this day the things for peace! But now they were hidden from your eyes.
