Because it was the preparation day and because the tomb was conveniently near, they laid Jesus in this tomb.
And so, because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
And so, because it was the Jewish day of Preparation, and the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
