| 92:1 | | Consider the night as it conceals! | | 92:2 | | Consider the day as it appears in glory! | | 92:3 | | Consider the creation of male and female! | | 92:4 | | Truly, that for which you all strive is diverse. | | 92:5 | | [Consider] the one who charitably gives in awe [of Allah]… | | 92:6 | | …and testifies to the best. | | 92:7 | | We will simplify for him/her the path to bliss. | | 92:8 | | [Consider] the one who is a greedy miser and [considers him-/herself] independent… | | 92:9 | | …and denies the best. | | 92:10 | | We will simplify for him/her the path to misery. | | 92:11 | | His/her wealth will be of no use when he/she perishes. | | 92:12 | | Truly, We have taken the responsibility to guide. | | 92:13 | | Truly, unto Us are the end and the beginning. | | 92:14 | | Therefore, I warn you of a raging fire. | | 92:15 | | None will have to endure it except the most wretched ones. | | 92:16 | | [They are those] who reject faith and turn away. | | 92:17 | | The righteous will be far removed from (Hell). | | 92:18 | | [They are] those who spend their money for self-purification [ie, in charity]. | | 92:19 | | They do not expect the favor of anything in return. | | 92:20 | | They only want to seek the countenance of their Lord the Highest. | | 92:21 | | They will soon attain satisfaction. |
