| 90:1 | | I NEED not to swear by this SOIL | | 90:2 | | This soil on which thou dost dwell | | 90:3 | | Or by sire and offspring | | 90:4 | | Surely in trouble have we created man | | 90:5 | | What! thinketh he that no one hath power over him | | 90:6 | | "I have wasted," saith he, "enormous riches!" | | 90:7 | | What! thinketh he that no one regardeth him | | 90:8 | | What! have we not made him eyes | | 90:9 | | And tongue, and lips | | 90:10 | | And guided him to the two highways | | 90:11 | | Yet he attempted not the steep | | 90:12 | | And who shall teach thee what the steep is | | 90:13 | | It is to ransom the captive | | 90:14 | | Or to feed in the day of famine | | 90:15 | | The orphan who is near of kin | | 90:16 | | or the poor that lieth in the dust | | 90:17 | | Beside this, to be of those who believe, and enjoin stedfastness on each other, and enjoin compassion on each other | | 90:18 | | These shall be the people of the right hand | | 90:19 | | While they who disbelieve our signs, Shall be the people of the left | | 90:20 | | Around them the fire shall close |
