| Arabic | | لَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَن يُجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُتَّقِين |  |

| (Would) ask your permission | | yastadhinuka | | يَسْتَءْذِنُكَ | | ا ذ ن | |
| those who | | alladhīna | | الَّذِينَ | | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| believe | | yu'minūna | | يُؤْمِنُونَ | | ا م ن | |
| in Allah | | bil-lahi | | بِاللَّهِ | | ا ل ه | |
| and the Day | | wal-yawmi | | وَالْيَوْمِ | | ى و م | |
| the Last | | l-ākhiri | | الْءَاخِرِ | | ا خ ر | |
| they strive | | yujāhidū | | يُجَاهِدُوا | | ج ه د | |
| with their wealth | | bi-amwālihim | | بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ | | م و ل | |
| and their lives. | | wa-anfusihim | | وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ | | ن ف س | |
| And Allah | | wal-lahu | | وَاللَّهُ | | ا ل ه | |
| (is) All-Knower | | ʿalīmun | | عَلِيمٌ | | ع ل م | |
| of the righteous. | | bil-mutaqīna | | بِالْمُتَّقِينَ | | و ق ى | |
