| 85:1 | | By the sky having the constellation | | 85:2 | | and by the promised da | | 85:3 | | and by a witness and a witnessed | | 85:4 | | Damn the directors of the fire pit | | 85:5 | | the fire having (plenty of) the fuel | | 85:6 | | when they sat around it | | 85:7 | | and they were witnesses over what they did to the believers | | 85:8 | | And they only took revenge from them for believing in God the powerful, the praiseworthy | | 85:9 | | The One that the rule of the skies and the earth belongs to Him, and God is a witness over everything | | 85:10 | | Indeed those who persecuted (and tortured) the believing men and the believing women and did not repent, punishment of hell is for them and the burning punishment is for them | | 85:11 | | Indeed those who believed and did good works, for them are gardens which rivers flow through them. That is the great victory | | 85:12 | | Indeed your Master’s assault is severe | | 85:13 | | Indeed He initiates and repeats (the creation) | | 85:14 | | and He is the forgiving, the most friendly | | 85:15 | | owner of the glorious throne | | 85:16 | | doer of what He wants | | 85:17 | | Did the story of the armies come to you | | 85:18 | | Pharaoh and the Thamud | | 85:19 | | But those who disbelieved are in a denial | | 85:20 | | And God is surrounding over and above them | | 85:21 | | This is a glorious Qura | | 85:22 | | in a guarded (and protected) tablet |
