| 85:1 | | "By the (night) sky with its constellations," | | 85:2 | | "And by the promised Day," | | 85:3 | | and by the witness and what is witnessed | | 85:4 | | ruined are the People of the Pit (of fire) -- | | 85:5 | | it was blazing with fue | | 85:6 | | "when they sat by it," | | 85:7 | | and they witnessed for themselves what they were doing to the believers | | 85:8 | | "and they had nothing against them except that thy believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised," | | 85:9 | | Whose kingdom is the heavens and the earth. And Allah is a Witness to all things | | 85:10 | | Surely those who persecute believing men and women and do not repent shall have the punishment of Hell. They shall have the punishment of burning | | 85:11 | | "But for those who believe and do good deeds, there will be Gardens in which rivers flow. That is the great victory." | | 85:12 | | "Truly the grip of your Lord is mighty, powerful." | | 85:13 | | "It is He Who creates and then brings back (to life)," | | 85:14 | | "and He is the Forgiving, the Loving," | | 85:15 | | "Lord of the Glorious Throne," | | 85:16 | | Who does all that He wills | | 85:17 | | Have you heard the story of the armed force | | 85:18 | | of Pharaoah and Tham?d | | 85:19 | | "No, but the unbelievers (still) deny (the truth)" | | 85:20 | | although Allah surrounds them (everywhere) from behind | | 85:21 | | "No, but it is a glorious Qur??n" | | 85:22 | | in a Guarded Tablet |
