| | Ali Quli Qara'i rendition of Surah The Rising of the Dead, Resurrection(al-Qiyamah) --- |
---|
75:1 | | I swear by the Day of Resurrection |
75:2 | | And I swear by the self-blaming soul |
75:3 | | Does man suppose that We shall not put together his bones |
75:4 | | Yes indeed, We are able to proportion [even] his fingertips |
75:5 | | Rather man desires to go on living viciously |
75:6 | | He asks, ‘When is this day of resurrection?!&rsquo |
75:7 | | But when the eyes are dazzled |
75:8 | | and the moon is eclipsed |
75:9 | | and the sun and the moon are brought together |
75:10 | | that day man will say, ‘Where is the escape?&rsquo |
75:11 | | No indeed! There is no refuge |
75:12 | | That day the abode will be toward your Lord |
75:13 | | That day man will be informed about what he has sent ahead and left behind |
75:14 | | Rather man is a witness to himself |
75:15 | | though he should offer his excuses |
75:16 | | Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it |
75:17 | | Indeed it is up to Us to put it together and to recite it |
75:18 | | And when We have recited it, follow its recitation |
75:19 | | Then, its exposition indeed [also] lies with Us |
75:20 | | No Indeed! Rather you love this transitory lif |
75:21 | | and forsake the Hereafter |
75:22 | | Some faces will be fresh on that day |
75:23 | | looking at their Lord |
75:24 | | and some faces will be scowling on that day |
75:25 | | knowing that they will be dealt out a punishment breaking the spine |
75:26 | | No indeed! When the soul reaches up to the collar bones |
75:27 | | and it is said, ‘Who will take him up?&rsquo |
75:28 | | and he knows that it is the [time of] parting |
75:29 | | and each shank clasps the other shank |
75:30 | | that day he shall be driven toward your Lord |
75:31 | | He neither confirmed [the truth], nor prayed |
75:32 | | but denied [it] and turned away |
75:33 | | and went swaggering to his family |
75:34 | | So woe to you! Woe to you |
75:35 | | Again, woe to you! Woe to you |
75:36 | | Does man suppose that he would be abandoned to futility |
75:37 | | Was he not a drop of emitted semen |
75:38 | | Then he became a clinging mass; then He created [him] and proportioned [him] |
75:39 | | and made of him the two sexes, the male and the female |
75:40 | | Is not such a one able to revive the dead |
