| | Ali Bakhtiari Nejad rendition of Surah The Enshrouded One, Bundled Up, The Mantled One(al-Muzammil) --- |
---|
73:1 | | You who wrap yourself | 73:2 | | get up at night, except a little | 73:3 | | half of it or a little less of i | 73:4 | | or add (a little) to it, and recite the Quran distinctly (and thoughtfully) | 73:5 | | Indeed We are going to throw a heavy word on you | 73:6 | | Indeed rising up at night is more effective and more appropriate for word (of prayer) | 73:7 | | Indeed you have lengthy occupations during the day | 73:8 | | And remember the name of you Master, and devote your life to Him devotedly | 73:9 | | Master of the east and the west, there is no god except Him, so take Him as an advocate | 73:10 | | And be patient about what they say and break up with them, a nice separation | 73:11 | | And leave Me and the deniers who have the good life, and give them a little time | 73:12 | | Indeed there is shackles and hellfire with Us | 73:13 | | and food that chokes and a painful punishment (for them) | 73:14 | | on a day that the earth and the mountains shake and the mountains become a pile of flowing sands | 73:15 | | Indeed We sent a messenger to you as a witness over you as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh | 73:16 | | Then Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so We took him, a disastrous taking | 73:17 | | So if you disbelieve then how do you protect (yourselves) on a day that makes the children white haired (and grow old), if you disbelieved | 73:18 | | (A day that) the sky is torn apart in it. God's promise shall be done | 73:19 | | Indeed this (Quran) is a reminder, so anyone who wants, takes a way to his Master (with it). | 73:20 | | Indeed your Master knows that you and a group of those with you get up nearly two third of the night or half of it or one third of it. God determines (length of) the night and the day, and He knows that you never calculate it, so He turned to you (in mercy), therefore read as much as you can from Quran. He knows that some of you are going to get sick and others move around on the earth looking for His bounty and others fight in God's way, so read as much as you can from it, and perform the mandatory prayer and give to mandatory charity and lend God a good loan (or offer God a good deed). And whatever good you send ahead for yourselves, you find it as a better and greater reward with God. And ask forgiveness of God, as God is indeed forgiving and merciful |
