| the heavens | | l-samāwāti | | السَّمَاوَاتِ | | س م و | |
| and the earth | | wal-arḍa | | وَالْأَرْضَ | | ا ر ض | |
| with truth, | | bil-ḥaqi | | بِالْحَقِّ | | ح ق ق | |
| and He formed you | | waṣawwarakum | | وَصَوَّرَكُمْ | | ص و ر | |
| and made good | | fa-aḥsana | | فَأَحْسَنَ | | ح س ن | |
| your forms, | | ṣuwarakum | | صُوَرَكُمْ | | ص و ر | |
| and to Him | | wa-ilayhi | | وَإِلَيْهِ | | ا ل ى | |
| (is) the final return. | | l-maṣīru | | الْمَصِيرُ | | ص ى ر | |
