| Arabic | | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحِلُّوا شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ وَلَا الشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَلَا الْهَدْيَ وَلَا الْقَلَائِدَ وَلَا آمِّينَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَانًا وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَاصْطَادُوا وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ أَن صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَن تَعْتَدُوا وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَاب |  |

| (the) rites | shaʿāira | شَعَائِرَ | ش ع ر | |
| (of) Allah, | l-lahi | اللَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| the month | l-shahra | الشَّهْرَ | ش ه ر | |
| sacred | l-ḥarāma | الْحَرَامَ | ح ر م | |
| the sacrificial animals | l-hadya | الْهَدْيَ | ه د ى | |
| the garlanded | l-qalāida | الْقَلَائِدَ | ق ل د | |
| (those) coming | āmmīna | ءَامِّينَ | ا م م | |
| (to) the House | l-bayta | الْبَيْتَ | ب ى ت | |
| Sacred | l-ḥarāma | الْحَرَامَ | ح ر م | |
| seeking | yabtaghūna | يَبْتَغُونَ | ب غ ى | |
| their Lord | rabbihim | رَبِّهِمْ | ر ب ب | |
| and good pleasure. | wariḍ'wānan | وَرِضْوَانًا | ر ض و | |
| And when | wa-idhā | وَإِذَا | ا ذ ا | |
| you come out of Ihram | ḥalaltum | حَلَلْتُمْ | ح ل ل | |
| then (you may) hunt. | fa-iṣ'ṭādū | فَاصْطَادُوا | ص ى د | |
| let incite you | yajrimannakum | يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ | ج ر م | |
| (the) hatred | shanaānu | شَنَءَانُ | ش ن ء | |
| (for) a people | qawmin | قَوْمٍ | ق و م | |
| they stopped you | ṣaddūkum | صَدُّوكُمْ | ص د د | |
| Al-Masjid | l-masjidi | الْمَسْجِدِ | س ج د | |
| Al-Haraam | l-ḥarāmi | الْحَرَامِ | ح ر م | |
| you commit transgression. | taʿtadū | تَعْتَدُوا | ع د و | |
| And help one another | wataʿāwanū | وَتَعَاوَنُوا | ع و ن | |
| [the] righteousness | l-biri | الْبِرِّ | ب ر ر | |
| and [the] piety, | wal-taqwā | وَالتَّقْوَى | و ق ى | |
| help one another | taʿāwanū | تَعَاوَنُوا | ع و ن | |
| [the] sin | l-ith'mi | الْإِثْمِ | ا ث م | |
| and [the] transgression. | wal-ʿud'wāni | وَالْعُدْوَانِ | ع د و | |
| And fear | wa-ittaqū | وَاتَّقُوا | و ق ى | |
| (is) severe | shadīdu | شَدِيدُ | ش د د | |
| (in) [the] punishment. | l-ʿiqābi | الْعِقَابِ | ع ق ب | |
