| Arabic | | وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُوا أَن تَعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ النِّسَاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ فَلَا تَمِيلُوا كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ وَإِن تُصْلِحُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمً |  |

| and leave her (the other) | fatadharūhā | فَتَذَرُوهَا | و ذ ر | |
| like the suspended one. | kal-muʿalaqati | كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ | ع ل ق | |
| you reconcile | tuṣ'liḥū | تُصْلِحُوا | ص ل ح | |
| and fear (Allah) | watattaqū | وَتَتَّقُوا | و ق ى | |
| then indeed, | fa-inna | فَإِنَّ | ا ن ن | |
| Oft-Forgiving, | ghafūran | غَفُورًا | غ ف ر | |
| Most Merciful. | raḥīman | رَحِيمًا | ر ح م | |
