| Arabic | | وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَاءَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِيهِ أُخْرَىٰ فَإِذَا هُمْ قِيَامٌ يَنظُرُون |  |

| And (will) be blown | | wanufikha | | وَنُفِخَ | | ن ف خ | |
| the trumpet, | | l-ṣūri | | الصُّورِ | | ص و ر | |
| then (will) fall dead | | faṣaʿiqa | | فَصَعِقَ | | ص ع ق | |
| the heavens | | l-samāwāti | | السَّمَاوَاتِ | | س م و | |
| and whoever | | waman | | وَمَنْ | | م ن | |
| the earth | | l-arḍi | | الْأَرْضِ | | ا ر ض | |
| (it will) be blown | | nufikha | | نُفِخَ | | ن ف خ | |
| a second time, | | ukh'rā | | أُخْرَى | | ا خ ر | |
| and behold! | | fa-idhā | | فَإِذَا | | ا ذ ا | |
| (will be) standing | | qiyāmun | | قِيَامٌ | | ق و م | |
| waiting. | | yanẓurūna | | يَنْظُرُونَ | | ن ظ ر | |
