| Arabic | | وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِير |  |

| withhold | yabkhalūna | يَبْخَلُونَ | ب خ ل | |
| (has) given them | ātāhumu | ءَاتَاهُمُ | ا ت ى | |
| His Bounty | faḍlihi | فَضْلِهِ | ف ض ل | |
| (is) good | khayran | خَيْرًا | خ ى ر | |
| (is) bad | sharrun | شَرٌّ | ش ر ر | |
| Their necks will be encircled | sayuṭawwaqūna | سَيُطَوَّقُونَ | ط و ق | |
| they withheld | bakhilū | بَخِلُوا | ب خ ل | |
| (on the) Day | yawma | يَوْمَ | ى و م | |
| (of) [the] Resurrection. | l-qiyāmati | الْقِيَامَةِ | ق و م | |
| And for Allah | walillahi | وَلِلَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| (is the) heritage | mīrāthu | مِيرَاثُ | و ر ث | |
| (of) the heavens | l-samāwāti | السَّمَاوَاتِ | س م و | |
| and the earth. | wal-arḍi | وَالْأَرْضِ | ا ر ض | |
| And Allah, | wal-lahu | وَاللَّهُ | ا ل ه | |
| you do, | taʿmalūna | تَعْمَلُونَ | ع م ل | |
| (is) All-Aware. | khabīrun | خَبِيرٌ | خ ب ر | |
