| Arabic | | الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيل |  |

| Those who | | alladhīna | | الَّذِينَ | | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| [the people], | | l-nāsu | | النَّاسُ | | ن و س | |
| the people | | l-nāsa | | النَّاسَ | | ن و س | |
| (have) certainly | | qad | | قَدْ | | ق د | |
| gathered | | jamaʿū | | جَمَعُوا | | ج م ع | |
| so fear them." | | fa-ikh'shawhum | | فَاخْشَوْهُمْ | | خ ش ى | |
| But it increased them | | fazādahum | | فَزَادَهُمْ | | ز ى د | |
| (in) faith | | īmānan | | إِيمَانًا | | ا م ن | |
| and they said, | | waqālū | | وَقَالُوا | | ق و ل | |
| "Sufficient for us | | ḥasbunā | | حَسْبُنَا | | ح س ب | |
| (is) Allah | | l-lahu | | اللَّهُ | | ا ل ه | |
| and (He is the) best | | waniʿ'ma | | وَنِعْمَ | | ن ع م | |
| [the] Disposer of affairs." | | l-wakīlu | | الْوَكِيلُ | | و ك ل | |
