| Arabic | | وَإِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ إِنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلِهِ مُسْلِمِين |  |

| And when | | wa-idhā | | وَإِذَا | | ا ذ ا | |
| it is recited | | yut'lā | | يُتْلَى | | ت ل و | |
| to them | | ʿalayhim | | عَلَيْهِمْ | | ع ل ى | |
| they say, | | qālū | | قَالُوا | | ق و ل | |
| "We believe | | āmannā | | ءَامَنَّا | | ا م ن | |
| Indeed, it | | innahu | | إِنَّهُ | | ا ن ن | |
| (is) the truth | | l-ḥaqu | | الْحَقُّ | | ح ق ق | |
| our Lord. | | rabbinā | | رَبِّنَا | | ر ب ب | |
| Indeed, we | | innā | | إِنَّا | | ا ن ن | |
| [we] were | | kunnā | | كُنَّا | | ك و ن | |
| before it | | qablihi | | قَبْلِهِ | | ق ب ل | |
| Muslims." | | mus'limīna | | مُسْلِمِينَ | | س ل م | |
