| Arabic | | وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ وَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِين |  |

| "O | yāayyuhā | يَاأَيُّهَا | ا ى ى | |
| people! | l-nāsu | النَّاسُ | ن و س | |
| We have been taught | ʿullim'nā | عُلِّمْنَا | ع ل م | |
| (the) language | manṭiqa | مَنْطِقَ | ن ط ق | |
| (of) the birds, | l-ṭayri | الطَّيْرِ | ط ى ر | |
| and we have been given | waūtīnā | وَأُوتِينَا | ا ت ى | |
| surely, it | lahuwa | لَهُوَ | ه و | |
| (is) the favor | l-faḍlu | الْفَضْلُ | ف ض ل | |
| evident." | l-mubīnu | الْمُبِينُ | ب ى ن | |
