| Arabic | | فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا سُلَيْمَانَ وَكُلًّا آتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُودَ الْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَالطَّيْرَ وَكُنَّا فَاعِلِين |  |

| And We gave understanding of it | | fafahhamnāhā | | فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا | | ف ه م | |
| (to) Sulaiman, | | sulaymāna | | سُلَيْمَانَ | | س ل م | |
| and (to) each | | wakullan | | وَكُلًّا | | ك ل ل | |
| We gave | | ātaynā | | ءَاتَيْنَا | | ا ت ى | |
| judgment | | ḥuk'man | | حُكْمًا | | ح ك م | |
| and knowledge. | | waʿil'man | | وَعِلْمًا | | ع ل م | |
| And We subjected | | wasakharnā | | وَسَخَّرْنَا | | س خ ر | |
| the mountains | | l-jibāla | | الْجِبَالَ | | ج ب ل | |
| (to) glorify Our praises | | yusabbiḥ'na | | يُسَبِّحْنَ | | س ب ح | |
| and the birds. | | wal-ṭayra | | وَالطَّيْرَ | | ط ى ر | |
| And We were | | wakunnā | | وَكُنَّا | | ك و ن | |
| the Doers. | | fāʿilīna | | فَاعِلِينَ | | ف ع ل | |
