| it descended. | | nazala | | نَزَلَ | | ن ز ل | |
| We sent you | | arsalnāka | | أَرْسَلْنَاكَ | | ر س ل | |
| (as) a bearer of glad tidings | | mubashiran | | مُبَشِّرًا | | ب ش ر | |
| and a warner. | | wanadhīran | | وَنَذِيرًا | | ن ذ ر | |
