| Arabic | | وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِين |  |

| He will gather them, | | yaḥshuruhum | | يَحْشُرُهُمْ | | ح ش ر | |
| they had remained | | yalbathū | | يَلْبَثُوا | | ل ب ث | |
| an hour | | sāʿatan | | سَاعَةً | | س و ع | |
| the day, | | l-nahāri | | النَّهَارِ | | ن ه ر | |
| they will recognize each other | | yataʿārafūna | | يَتَعَارَفُونَ | | ع ر ف | |
| between them. | | baynahum | | بَيْنَهُمْ | | ب ى ن | |
| (will have) lost | | khasira | | خَسِرَ | | خ س ر | |
| those who | | alladhīna | | الَّذِينَ | | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| denied | | kadhabū | | كَذَّبُوا | | ك ذ ب | |
| the meeting | | biliqāi | | بِلِقَاءِ | | ل ق ى | |
| (with) Allah, | | l-lahi | | اللَّهِ | | ا ل ه | |
| they were | | kānū | | كَانُوا | | ك و ن | |
