51:1  By (the winds) that scatter dust
51:2  and (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water;
51:3  and (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness;
51:4  and those (angels) that distribute command (of Allah);
51:5  surely that which you are Promised is true;
51:6  and surely, the recompense is sure to happen.
51:7  By the sky full of orbits,
51:8  certainly, you have different ideas,
51:9  turn aside from (Muhammad and the Qur’an) is the one who is turned aside.
51:10  Curse be to the liars,
51:11  who are under a cover of heedlessness (don’t think about the Hereafter).
51:12  They ask: “When will be the Day of recompense?”
51:13  (It will be) a Day when they will be punished over the fire,
51:14  (it will be said): “You taste your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!”
51:15  Surely, the pious will be in the midst of gardens and springs (in Paradise),
51:16  taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Surely, they were before this (in the world) righteous people.
51:17  They used to sleep but little by the night,
51:18  and ask (Allah) for forgiveness in the Hours before dawn,
51:19  and share their properties with the needy (who asked) for it, and the deprived (who did not ask).
51:20  And in the earth, there are signs for those who have firm faith,
51:21  and also in your own selves. Can you not then see?
51:22  And in the heaven is your provision, and all that which you are Promised.
51:23  Then by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, surely it is the truth just as what you speak!
51:24  Has the story of the honored guests (angel Gabriel with 2 more angels) of Abraham reached you?
51:25  When they came to him, and said: “Peace be upon you!” He answered: “Peace be upon you,” and said: “You are people unknown to me,”
51:26  then he turned to his family, brought out a fat roasted calf
51:27  and he put it before them (saying): “Will you not eat?”
51:28  (When they did not eat), he became afraid of them. They said: “Don’t fear.” They gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son.
51:29  Then his wife came forward with a loud voice, she strikes her face and said: “(A son to) a barren old woman!”
51:30  They said: “Even so says your Lord. Surely, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower.”
51:31  He (Abraham) said: “For what purpose you have come, O Messengers?”
51:32  They said: “We have been sent to a criminal people (of prophet Lot, who were homosexuals)
51:33  to send down upon them stones of baked clay,
51:34  marked by your Lord for those who transgress Allah’s limits.”
51:35  So We brought out all those who were believers in the town,
51:36  but We found none in it except one household of the Muslims (Lot and his 2 daughters)
51:37  and We left in it a sign (the Dead Sea in Palestine) for those who fear the painful punishment.
51:38  And (There is sign in the story) of Moses, when We sent him to Pharaoh with a clear authority,
51:39  but he (Pharaoh) turned away (from belief) with his hosts and said: “A sorcerer, or a madman.”
51:40  So, We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea. Indeed he deserved to be blamed.
51:41  (There is sign in the story) of Ad, when We sent against them the barren wind,
51:42  which spared nothing that it reached and it blew on like something rotten (decayed).
51:43  And (there is sign in the story) of Thamud, when it was said to them: “Enjoy yourselves for a while (3 days),”
51:44  but they disobeyed the command of their Lord with arrogance; so the awful cry overtook them while they were looking.
51:45  So neither they were able to rise up nor could they help themselves.
51:46  (Allah destroyed) the people of Noah before them. Surely, they were people who were rebellious, disobedient (to Allah).
51:47  Allah has built the heaven with power. Surely, We are Able to extend the vastness of space in it.
51:48  And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader are We!
51:49  We have created everything in pairs, so that you may remember (Allah).
51:50  (Say to mankind, O Muhammad):“Rush towards Allah, surely, I (Muhammad) am from Him a plain Warner to you.
51:51  And don’t set up any other one worthy of worship with Allah. Surely, I (Muhammad) am from Him a plain Warner to you.”
51:52  Likewise, whenever a Messenger came to those before them, they said: “A sorcerer or a madman!”
51:53  Have they (past people) transmitted this saying (to these pagans)? Nay, but they are a people transgressing beyond bounds!
51:54  So, turn away (O Muhammad) from them (pagans), you are not to be blamed (you have conveyed message).
51:55  And remind (by preaching the Qur’an, O Muhammad), for surely, the reminding benefits the believers.
51:56  I have not created the jinns and mankind except to worship Me (alone).
51:57  I don’t want any provision from them nor do I want that they feed Me.
51:58  Surely, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Strong.
51:59  And surely, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of punishment similar to the portion of the punishment of their friends (predecessors), so ask Me not to hasten on!
51:60  Then, woe to those who disbelieve from their Day which they have been promised (for punishment).
