3:37
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَن ٍ وَأَنْبَتَهَا نَبَاتاً حَسَنا ً وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقا ً قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّى لَكِ هَذَا قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَاب ٍ
Fataqabbalahā Rabbuhā Biqabūlin Ĥasanin Wa 'Anbatahā Nabātāan Ĥasanāan Wa Kaffalahā Zakarīyā Kullamā Dakhala `Alayhā Zakarīyā Al-Miĥrāba Wajada `Indahā Rizqāan Qāla Yā Maryamu 'Anná Laki Hādhā Qālat Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Yarzuqu Man Yashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin
So her Lord accepted her a good acceptance, and made her grow into a good growth, and charged Zachariah with her. Every time Zachariah entered upon her in the temple enclosure, he found provisions with her. He said: "O Mary, from where did you get this?" She said: "It is from God, for God provides for whom He wishes without reckoning."
3:37

3:38
هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّه ُُ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّة ً طَيِّبَة ً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Hunālika Da`ā Zakarīyā Rabbahu Qāla Rabbi Hab Lī Min Ladunka Dhurrīyatan Ţayyibatan 'Innaka Samī`u Ad-Du`ā'i
It was then that Zachariah implored his Lord; he said: "My Lord, grant me from You a good progeny. You are the hearer of prayer."
6:85
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَى وَعِيسَى وَإِلْيَاسَ كُلّ ٌ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Wa Zakarīyā Wa Yaĥyá Wa `Īsá Wa 'Ilyāsa Kullun Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna
And Zachariah and John, and Jesus, and Elias; all were from the upright.
19:2
ذِكْرُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَه ُُ زَكَرِيَّا
Dhikru Raĥmati Rabbika `Abdahu Zakarīyā
A reminder of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zachariah.
19:7
يَازَكَرِيَّا إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلاَم ٍ اسْمُه ُُ يَحْيَى لَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَه ُُ مِنْ قَبْلُ سَمِيّا ً
Yā Zakarīyā 'Innā Nubashshiruka Bighulāmin Asmuhu Yaĥyá Lam Naj`al Lahu Min Qablu Samīyāan
"O Zachariah, We give you glad tidings of a son whose name is John. We have not given that name before to anyone."
21:89
وَزَكَرِيَّا إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّه ُُ رَبِّ لاَ تَذَرْنِي فَرْدا ً وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
Wa Zakarīyā 'Idh Nādá Rabbahu Rabbi Lā Tadharnī Fardāan Wa 'Anta Khayru Al-Wārithīna
And Zachariah when he called out to his Lord: "My Lord, do not leave me without an heir, and You are the best inheritor."
