to measure by the cubit, stretch the forefeet in walk, lower (a camel) for riding, overcome, strangle from behind, raise and stretch forth the arm (in swimming), stretching forth of the hand, spread widely, strength/power, measure, length, forearm, forefoot, cubit, rod of cubit of 22 3/4 inches, length of the arm to the elbow to the extremity of the middle finger.
Fall short of the affair, prevent, withold, felt helpless, means, ability, limit.
Talk/walk much, long stride.

11:77
وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطا ً سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعا ً وَقَالَ هَذَا يَوْمٌ عَصِيب ٌ
Wa Lammā Jā'at Rusulunā Lūţāan Sī'a Bihim Wa Đāqa Bihim Dhar`āan Wa Qāla Hādhā Yawmun `Aşībun

And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was grieved by them and he felt discomfort for them and he said: "This is a distressful day."

29:33
وَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطا ً سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعا ً وَقَالُوا لاَ تَخَفْ وَلاَ تَحْزَنْ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
Wa Lammā 'An Jā'at Rusulunā Lūţāan Sī'a Bihim Wa Đāqa Bihim Dhar`āan Wa Qālū Lā Takhaf Wa Lā Taĥzan 'Innā Munajjūka Wa 'Ahlaka 'Illā Amra'ataka Kānat Mina Al-Ghābirīna

And when Our messengers came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed towards them. And they said: "Do not fear, and do not be saddened. We will save you and your family, except for your wife; she is of those doomed."

69:32
ثُمَّ فِي سِلْسِلَة ٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعا ً فَاسْلُكُوهُ
Thumma Fī Silsilatin Dhar`uhā Sab`ūna Dhirā`āan Fāslukūhu

Then, in a chain that is the length of seventy arms, tie him up.

18:18
وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ أَيْقَاظا ً وَهُمْ رُقُود ٌ وَنُقَلِّبُهُمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَكَلْبُهُمْ بَاسِط ٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ بِالْوَصِيدِ لَوِ اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَوَلَّيْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِرَارا ً وَلَمُلِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ رُعْبا ً
Wa Taĥsabuhum 'Ayqāžāan Wa Hum Ruqūdun Wa Nuqallibuhum Dhāta Al-Yamīni Wa Dhāta Ash-Shimāli Wa Kalbuhum Bāsiţun Dhirā`ayhi Bil-Waşīdi Lawi Aţţala`ta `Alayhim Lawallayta Minhum Firārāan Wa Lamuli'ta Minhum Ru`bāan

And you would think they are awake while they are asleep. And We turn them on the right-side and on the left-side, and their dog has his arms outstretched at the threshold. If you looked upon them you would have run away from them and you would have been filled with terror from them!

69:32
