14:43
Muhţi`īna Muqni`ī Ru'ūsihim Lā Yartaddu 'Ilayhim Ţarfuhum Wa 'Af'idatuhum Hawā'un
They will approach with their heads bowed, and their eyes will not blink, and their hearts will be void.
27:40
Qāla Al-Ladhī `Indahu `Ilmun Mina Al-Kitābi 'Anā 'Ātīka Bihi Qabla 'An Yartadda 'Ilayka Ţarfuka Falammā Ra'āhu Mustaqirrāan `Indahu Qāla Hādhā Min FaĐli Rabbī Liyabluwanī 'A'ashkuru 'Am 'Akfuru Wa Man Shakara Fa'innamā Yashkuru Linafsihi Wa Man Kafara Fa'inna Rabbī Ghanīyun Karīmun
And one who had knowledge from the Book said: "I will bring it to you before you blink." So when he saw it resting before him, he said: "This is from the grace of my Lord, so that He tests me whether I am thankful or whether I reject. As for he who is thankful, he is thankful for himself, and as for he who rejects, then my Lord is Rich, Bountiful."
37:48
Wa `Indahum Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi `Īnun
And with them are those with a modest gaze, with lovely eyes.
38:52
Wa `Indahum Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi 'Atrābun
And with them are those with a modest gaze, mature in age.
42:45
Wa Tarāhum Yu`raĐūna `Alayhā Khāshi`īna Mina Adh-Dhulli Yanžurūna Min Ţarfin Khafīyin Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Inna Al-Khāsirīna Al-Ladhīna Khasirū 'Anfusahum Wa 'Ahlīhim Yawma Al-Qiyāmati 'Alā 'Inna Až-žālimīna Fī `Adhābin Muqīmin
And you will see them being displayed to it, in fearful humiliation, and looking, while trying to avoid looking. And those who believed will say: The losers are those who lost their souls and their families on the Day of Resurrection. The transgressors will be in a lasting retribution.
55:56
Fīhinna Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun

3:127
Liyaqţa`a Ţarafāan Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Aw Yakbitahum Fayanqalibū Khā'ibīna
Thus He will sever a group of those who reject, or disgrace them; then they will turn back frustrated.
11:114
Wa 'Aqimi Aş-Şalāata Ţarafayi An-Nahāri Wa Zulafāan Mina Al-Layli 'Inna Al-Ĥasanāti Yudh/hibna As-Sayyi'āti Dhālika Dhikrá Lildhdhākirīna
And hold the contact prayer at two parts of the day, and the near part of the night. The good deeds take away the bad. This is a reminder to those who remember.
13:41
'Awalam Yaraw 'Annā Na'tī Al-'ArĐa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţrāfihā Wa Allāhu Yaĥkumu Lā Mu`aqqiba Liĥukmihi Wa Huwa Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi
Do they not see that We come to the land and reduce it from its ends? And God gives judgment and there is none to override His judgment. And He is swift to reckoning.
20:130
Fāşbir `Alá Mā Yaqūlūna Wa Sabbiĥ Biĥamdi Rabbika Qabla Ţulū`i Ash-Shamsi Wa Qabla Ghurūbihā Wa Min 'Ānā'i Al-Layli Fasabbiĥ Wa 'Aţrāfa An-Nahāri La`allaka TarĐá
So be patient to what they are saying and glorify the grace of your Lord before the rising of the sun, and before its setting, and at the approach of the night - you shall glorify - at the parts of the day, perhaps you may be content.
21:44
Bal Matta`nā Hā'uulā' Wa 'Ābā'ahum Ĥattá Ţāla `Alayhimu Al-`Umuru 'Afalā Yarawna 'Annā Na'tī Al-'ArĐa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţrāfihā 'Afahumu Al-Ghālibūna
It was Us who gave luxury to these and their fathers, until they grew old with age. Do they not see that We come to the land and reduce it from its edges? Will they be able to win?
