اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Ahdinā Aş-Şirāţa Al-Mustaqīma
Guide us to the straight path.
1:7
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ
Şirāţa Al-Ladhīna 'An`amta `Alayhim Ghayri Al-MaghĐūbi `Alayhim Wa Lā AĐ-Đāllīna
The path of those You have blessed, not of those who have incurred the wrath, nor the misguided.
2:142
سَيَقُولُ السُّفَهَاءُ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَا وَلاَّهُمْ عَنْ قِبْلَتِهِمُ الَّتِي كَانُوا عَلَيْهَا قُلْ لِلَّهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Sayaqūlu As-Sufahā'u Mina An-Nāsi Mā Wa Llāhum `An Qiblatihimu Allatī Kānū `Alayhā Qul Lillāhi Al-Mashriqu Wa Al-Maghribu Yahdī Man Yashā'u 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
The foolish from among the people will say: "What has turned them away from the focal point that they were on?" Say: "To God are the east and the west, He guides whomsoever He wishes to a straight path."
2:213
كَانَ النَّاسُ أُمَّة ً وَاحِدَة ً فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ النَّبِيِّينَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فِيمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيه ِِ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ~ِ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوه ُُ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ بَغْيا ً بَيْنَهُمْ فَهَدَى اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيه ِِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِه ِِ وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Kāna An-Nāsu 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Faba`atha Allāhu An-Nabīyīna Mubashshirīna Wa Mundhirīna Wa 'Anzala Ma`ahumu Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Liyaĥkuma Bayna An-Nāsi Fīmā Akhtalafū Fīhi Wa Mā Akhtalafa Fīhi 'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtūhu Min Ba`di Mā Jā'at/humu Al-Bayyinātu Baghyāan Baynahum Fahadá Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Limā Akhtalafū Fīhi Mina Al-Ĥaqqi Bi'idhnihi Wa Allāhu Yahdī Man Yashā'u 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
The people used to be one nation, then God sent the prophets as bearers of good news and warners, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth so that they may judge between the people in what they were disputing. But after receiving the clarity, the people disputed in it due to animosity between them. And God guided those who believed with His permission regarding what they disputed in of the truth. And God guides whoever He wishes to a straight path.
3:51
إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوه ُُ هَذَا صِرَاط ٌ مُسْتَقِيم ٌ
'Inna Allāha Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
"God is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him, this is a straight path."
3:101
وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُه ُُ وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa Kayfa Takfurūna Wa 'Antum Tutlá `Alaykum 'Āyātu Allāhi Wa Fīkum Rasūluhu Wa Man Ya`taşim Billāhi Faqad Hudiya 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
And how can you reject when the revelations of God are being recited to you and with you is His messenger? And whoever holds firmly to God has been guided to the straight path.
4:68
وَلَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ صِرَاطا ً مُسْتَقِيما ً
Wa Lahadaynāhum Şirāţāan Mustaqīmāan
And We would have guided them to a straight path.
4:175
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَاعْتَصَمُوا بِه ِِ فَسَيُدْخِلُهُمْ فِي رَحْمَة ٍ مِنْهُ وَفَضْل ٍ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَيْهِ صِرَاطا ً مُسْتَقِيما ً
Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Billāhi Wa A`taşamū Bihi Fasayudkhiluhum Fī Raĥmatin Minhu Wa FaĐlin Wa Yahdīhim 'Ilayhi Şirāţāan Mustaqīmāan
As for those who believe in God and hold fast to Him, He will admit them in a mercy from Him and a bounty, and He will guide them to Himself, a straight path.
5:16
يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَه ُُ سُبُلَ السَّلاَمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِه ِِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Yahdī Bihi Allāhu Mani Attaba`a RiĐwānahu Subula As-Salāmi Wa Yukhrijuhum Mina Až-žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūri Bi'idhnihi Wa Yahdīhim 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
God guides with it whoever follows His acceptance, to the ways of peace; and it brings them out of the darkness and into the light with His permission; and it guides them to a straight path.
6:39
وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا صُمّ ٌ وَبُكْم ٌ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ مَنْ يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَنْ يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Şummun Wa Bukmun Fī Až-žulumāti Man Yasha'i Allāhu YuĐlilhu Wa Man Yasha' Yaj`alhu `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
And those who deny Our revelations, they are deaf and dumb, in darkness. Whoever God wishes He misguides, and whoever He wishes He puts him on a straight path.
6:87
وَمِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَاجْتَبَيْنَاهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa Min 'Ābā'ihim Wa Dhurrīyātihim Wa 'Ikhwānihim Wa Ajtabaynāhum Wa Hadaynāhum 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
And from their fathers and their progeny and their brothers We have also chosen; and We guided them to a straight path.
6:126
وَهَذَا صِرَاطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيما ً قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الآيَاتِ لِقَوْم ٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
Wa Hadhā Şirāţu Rabbika Mustaqīmāan Qad Faşşalnā Al-'Āyāti Liqawmin Yadhdhakkarūna
And this is the straight path of your Lord. We have fully detailed the revelations to a people who remember.
6:153
وَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيما ً فَاتَّبِعُوه ُُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِه ِِ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِه ِِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
Wa 'Anna Hādhā Şirāţī Mustaqīmāan Fa Attabi`ūhu Wa Lā Tattabi`ū As-Subula Fatafarraqa Bikum `An Sabīlihi Dhālikum Waşşākum Bihi La`allakum Tattaqūna
And this is My path, a straight one. "So follow it, and do not follow the other paths lest they divert you from His path. That is what He has enjoined you to that you may be righteous."
6:161
قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ دِينا ً قِيَما ً مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفا ً وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Qul 'Innanī Hadānī Rabbī 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin Dīnāan Qiyamāan Millata 'Ibrāhīma Ĥanīfāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna
Say: "My Lord has guided me to a straight path, an upright system, the creed of Abraham the monotheist; he was not of the polytheists."
7:16
قَالَ فَبِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Qāla Fabimā 'Aghwaytanī La'aq`udanna Lahum Şirāţaka Al-Mustaqīma
He said: "For that which You have caused me to be misled, I will stalk for them on Your straight path."
7:86
وَلاَ تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاط ٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِه ِِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجا ً وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلا ً فَكَثَّرَكُمْ وَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Wa Lā Taq`udū Bikulli Şirāţin Tū`idūna Wa Taşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Man 'Āmana Bihi Wa Tabghūnahā `Iwajāan Wa Adhkurū 'Idh Kuntum Qalīlāan Fakaththarakum Wa Anžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mufsidīna
"And do not stand on every path, robbing, and turning away from the path of God those who believe in Him, and you seek to make it crooked. And remember that you were few and He multiplied you; and see how is the retribution of the corrupters."
10:25
وَاللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى دَارِ السَّلاَمِ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa Allāhu Yad`ū 'Ilá Dāri As-Salāmi Wa Yahdī Man Yashā'u 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
God calls to the abode of peace, and He guides those whom He wishes to a straight path.
11:56
إِنِّي تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ مَا مِنْ دَابَّة ٍ إِلاَّ هُوَ آخِذ ٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
'Innī Tawakkaltu `Alá Allāhi Rabbī Wa Rabbikum Mā Min Dābbatin 'Illā Huwa 'Ākhidhun Bināşiyatihā 'Inna Rabbī `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
"I have placed my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord. There is not a creature except He will seize it by its forelock. My Lord is on a straight path."
14:1
أَلِف-لَام-رَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ~ُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّور بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
'Alif-Lām-Rā Kitābun 'Anzalnāhu 'Ilayka Litukhrija An-Nāsa Mina Až-žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūr Bi'idhni Rabbihim 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi
ALR, a Book which We have sent down to you so that you may bring the people out of the darkness and into the light with the permission of their Lord, to the path of the Noble, the Praiseworthy.
15:41
قَالَ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيم ٌ
Qāla Hādhā Şirāţun `Alayya Mustaqīmun
He said: "This shall be a straight path to Me."
16:76
وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلا ً رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَبْكَمُ لاَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْء ٍ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَى مَوْلاَهُ~ُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجّههُّ لاَ يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي هُوَ وَمَنْ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَهُوَ عَلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa Đaraba Allāhu Mathalāan Rajulayni 'Aĥaduhumā 'Abkamu Lā Yaqdiru `Alá Shay'in Wa Huwa Kallun `Alá Mawlāhu 'Aynamā Yuwajjhhhu Lā Ya'ti Bikhayrin Hal Yastawī Huwa Wa Man Ya'muru Bil-`Adli Wa Huwa `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
And God puts forth the example of two men, one of them is mute and he cannot achieve anything, and he is a burden to his guardian. Wherever he points him, he does not come with any good. Is he the same as one who orders good and he is upon a straight path?
16:121
شَاكِرا ً لِأنْعُمِهِ اجْتَبَاه ُُ وَهَدَاهُ~ُ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم
Shākirāan Li'n`umihi Ajtabāhu Wa Hadāhu 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīm
Thankful for His blessings. He chose him and guided him to a straight path.
19:36
وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوه ُُ هَذَا صِرَاط ٌ مُسْتَقِيم ٌ
Wa 'Inna Allāha Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
And God is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him. This is a straight path.
19:43
يَاأَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءَنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطا ً سَوِيّا ً
Yā 'Abati 'Innī Qad Jā'anī Mina Al-`Ilmi Mā Lam Ya'tika Fa Attabi`nī 'Ahdika Şirāţāan Sawīyāan
"My father, knowledge has come to me which did not come to you. So follow me that I will guide you to a level path."
20:135
قُلْ كُلّ ٌ مُتَرَبِّص ٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَابُ الصِّرَاطِ السَّوِيِّ وَمَنِ اهْتَدَى
Qul Kullun Mutarabbişun Fatarabbaşū Fasata`lamūna Man 'Aşĥābu Aş-Şirāţi As-Sawīyi Wa Mani Ahtadá
Say: "All are waiting, so wait, and you will come to know who are the people upon the even path and who are guided."
22:24
وَهُدُوا إِلَى الطَّيِّبِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَهُدُوا إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْحَمِيدِ
Wa Hudū 'Ilá Aţ-Ţayyibi Mina Al-Qawli Wa Hudū 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-Ĥamīdi
And they are guided to the good sayings, and guided to the path of the Praiseworthy.
22:54
وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ فَيُؤْمِنُوا بِه ِِ فَتُخْبِتَ لَه ُُ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa Liya`lama Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-`Ilma 'Annahu Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbika Fayu'uminū Bihi Fatukhbita Lahu Qulūbuhum Wa 'Inna Allāha Lahādi Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
And to let those who have been given knowledge know that it is the truth from your Lord, and they will believe in it, and their hearts will soften to it. And God will guide those who believe to a straight path.
23:73
وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa 'Innaka Latad`ūhum 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
And you are inviting them to a straight path.
23:74
وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ لَنَاكِبُونَ
Wa 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Bil-'Ākhirati `Ani Aş-Şirāţi Lanākibūna
And those who do not believe in the Hereafter, they are deviating away from the path.
24:46
لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا آيَات ٍ مُبَيِّنَات ٍ وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Laqad 'Anzalnā 'Āyātin Mubayyinātin Wa Allāhu Yahdī Man Yashā'u 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
We have sent down to you clarifying revelations, and God guides whoever He wills to a straight path.
34:6
وَيَرَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ هُوَ الْحَقَّ وَيَهْدِي إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
Wa Yará Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-`Ilma Al-Ladhī 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika Huwa Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Yahdī 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi
And those that have been given knowledge will see that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth, and that it guides to the path of the Noble, the Praiseworthy.
36:4
عَلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
`Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
Upon a straight path.
36:61
وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي هَذَا صِرَاط ٌ مُسْتَقِيم ٌ
Wa 'Ani A`budūnī Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
And that you should serve Me? That is a straight path.
36:66
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَى أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّى يُبْصِرُونَ
Wa Law Nashā'u Laţamasnā `Alá 'A`yunihim Fāstabaqū Aş-Şirāţa Fa'anná Yubşirūna
And if We wished, We can blind their eyes, and they would race towards the path, but how would they see?
37:23
مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ
Min Dūni Allāhi Fāhdūhum 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-Jaĥīmi
Beside God, and guide them to the path of Hell.
37:118
وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Wa Hadaynāhumā Aş-Şirāţa Al-Mustaqīma
And We guided them to the straight path.
38:22
إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَى دَاوُودَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ قَالُوا لاَ تَخَفْ خَصْمَانِ بَغَى بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْض ٍ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَلاَ تُشْطِطْ وَاهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاءِ الصِّرَاطِ
'Idh Dakhalū `Alá Dāwūda Fafazi`a Minhum Qālū Lā Takhaf Khaşmāni Baghá Ba`Đunā `Alá Ba`Đin Fāĥkum Baynanā Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Lā Tushţiţ Wa Ahdinā 'Ilá Sawā'i Aş-Şirāţi
When they entered upon David, he was startled by them. They said: "Have no fear. We are two who have disputed, and one has wronged the other, so judge between us with the truth, and do not wrong us, and guide us to the right path."
42:52
وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحا ً مِنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا كُنْتَ تَدْرِي مَا الْكِتَابُ وَلاَ الإِيمَانُ وَلَكِنْ جَعَلْنَاه ُُ نُورا ً نَهْدِي بِه ِِ مَنْ نَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِي إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Wa Kadhalika 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Rūĥāan Min 'Amrinā Mā Kunta Tadrī Mā Al-Kitābu Wa Lā Al-'Īmānu Wa Lakin Ja`alnāhu Nūrāan Nahdī Bihi Man Nashā'u Min `Ibādinā Wa 'Innaka Latahdī 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
And thus, We inspired to you a revelation of Our command. You did not know what was the Book, nor what was faith. Yet, We made this a light to guide whoever We wish from among Our servants. Surely, you guide to a straight path.
42:53
صِرَاطِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَه ُُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ أَلاَ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَصِيرُ الأُمُورُ
Şirāţi Allāhi Al-Ladhī Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'ArĐi 'Alā 'Ilá Allāhi Taşīru Al-'Umūru
The path of God, to whom belongs what is in the heavens and the earth. Ultimately, to God all matters return.
43:43
فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ عَلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Fāstamsik Bial-Ladhī 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayka 'Innaka `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
You shall hold on to that which is inspired to you; for you are on a straight path.
43:61
وَإِنَّه ُُ لَعِلْم ٌ لِلسَّاعَةِ فَلاَ تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَاتَّبِعُونِي هَذَا صِرَاط ٌ مُسْتَقِيم ٌ
Wa 'Innahu La`ilmun Lilssā`ati Falā Tamtarunna Bihā Wa Attabi`ūnī Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
And he was a lesson for the Hour. So have no doubt about it. And follow Me; this is a straight path.
43:64
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوه ُُ هَذَا صِرَاط ٌ مُسْتَقِيم ٌ
'Inna Allāha Huwa Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
God is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. This is a straight path.
48:2
لِيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَه ُُ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَاطا ً مُسْتَقِيما ً
Liyaghfira Laka Allāhu Mā Taqaddama Min Dhanbika Wa Mā Ta'akhkhara Wa Yutimma Ni`matahu `Alayka Wa Yahdiyaka Şirāţāan Mustaqīmāan
So that God may forgive your present sins, and those past, and so that He may complete His blessings upon you, and guide you on a straight path.
48:20
وَعَدَكُمُ اللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَة ً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَذِه ِِ وَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَ النَّاسِ عَنْكُمْ وَلِتَكُونَ آيَة ً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَاطا ً مُسْتَقِيما ً
Wa`adakumu Allāhu Maghānima Kathīratan Ta'khudhūnahā Fa`ajjala Lakum Hadhihi Wa Kaffa 'Aydiya An-Nāsi `Ankum Wa Litakūna 'Āyatan Lilmu'uminīna Wa Yahdiyakum Şirāţāan Mustaqīmāan
God has promised you abundant spoils that you will take. Thus He has hastened this for you, and He has withheld the hands of the people against you; that it may be a sign for the believers, and that He may guide you to a straight path.
67:22
أَفَمَنْ يَمْشِي مُكِبّاً عَلَى وَجْهِهِ~ِ أَهْدَى أَمَّنْ يَمْشِي سَوِيّاً عَلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
'Afaman Yamshī Mukibbāan `Alá Wajhihi 'Ahdá 'Amman Yamshī Sawīyāan `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
Is one who walks while his face is slumped better guided, or one who walks straight on the right path?
