فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحا ً صَرْصَرا ً فِي أَيَّام ٍ نَحِسَات ٍ لِنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الآخِرَةِ أَخْزَى وَهُمْ لاَ يُنْصَرُونَ
Fa'arsalnā `Alayhim Rīĥāan Şarşarāan Fī 'Ayyāmin Naĥisātin Linudhīqahum `Adhāba Al-Khizyi Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa La`adhābu Al-'Ākhirati 'Akhzá Wa Hum Lā Yunşarūna
Consequently, We sent upon them a violent wind, for a few miserable days, that We may let them taste the humiliating retribution in this worldly life, and the retribution of the Hereafter is more humiliating; they can never win.
54:19
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحا ً صَرْصَرا ً فِي يَوْمِ نَحْس ٍ مُسْتَمِرّ ٍ
'Innā 'Arsalnā `Alayhim Rīĥāan Şarşarāan Fī Yawmi Naĥsin Mustamirrin
We sent upon them a violent wind, on a day of continuous misery.
69:6
وَأَمَّا عَاد ٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيح ٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَة ٍ
Wa 'Ammā `Ādun Fa'uhlikū Birīĥin Şarşarin `Ātiyahin
And as for Aad, they were annihilated by a furious violent wind.
