to make a siesta at noon, sleep in the middle of the day.

one who takes siesta at midday.
maqil
place of repose at noon, resting place.

7:4
وَكَمْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا فَجَاءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتاً أَوْ هُمْ قَائِلُونَ
Wa Kam Min Qaryatin 'Ahlaknāhā Fajā'ahā Ba'sunā Bayātāan 'Aw Hum Qā'ilūna
And how many a town have We destroyed; for Our punishment came to them while sleeping, or while resting.

أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْر ٌ مُسْتَقَرّا ً وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلا ً
'Aşĥābu Al-Jannati Yawma'idhin Khayrun Mustaqarrāan Wa 'Aĥsanu Maqīlāan
The dwellers of the Paradise on that Day are in the best abode and the best destiny.
