Qaf-Sad-Ra
become short, have little or no power, become niggardly, fall short, i.e. not to reach something, left/relinquish/abstain/desist/cease, took from its length, clip/shove, restricted/confined/limited, kept within certain bounds or limits, restrain/withheld, hinder/prevent, contract or draw oneself together, obedient, last part of day.

4:101
وَإِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَقْصُرُوا مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ إِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنَكُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ كَانُوا لَكُمْ عَدُوّا ً مُبِينا ً
Wa 'Idhā Đarabtum Fī Al-'ArĐi Falaysa `Alaykum Junāĥun 'An Taqşurū Mina Aş-Şalāati 'In Khiftum 'An Yaftinakumu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Inna Al-Kāfirīna Kānū Lakum `Adūwāan Mubīnāan
And if you go forth in the land, then there is no harm that you shorten from the contact prayer, if you fear that the rejecters will try you. The rejecters are to you a clear enemy.

وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِين ٌ
Wa `Indahum Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi `Īnun
And with them are those with a modest gaze, with lovely eyes.
38:52
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ أَتْرَاب ٌ
Wa `Indahum Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi 'Atrābun
And with them are those with a modest gaze, mature in age.
55:56
فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنْس ٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلاَ جَانّ ٌ
Fīhinna Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun
In them are those with a modest gaze, untouched before by any man or Jinn.

وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِنْ بَعْدِ عَاد ٍ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْ سُهُولِهَا قُصُورا ً وَتَنْحِتُونَ الْجِبَالَ بُيُوتا ً فَاذْكُرُوا آلاَءَ اللَّهِ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْا فِي الأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
Wa Adhkurū 'Idh Ja`alakum Khulafā'a Min Ba`di `Ādin Wa Bawwa'akum Fī Al-'ArĐi Tattakhidhūna Min Suhūlihā Quşūrāan Wa Tanĥitūna Al-Jibāla Buyūtāan Fādhkurū 'Ālā'a Allāhi Wa Lā Ta`thaw Fī Al-'ArĐi Mufsidīna
"And remember that He made you successors after 'Aad, and He established you in the land so that you make palaces on its plains, and you carve homes in the mountains. So remember the grace of God, and do not roam the earth as corrupters."
22:45
فَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَة ٌ فَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوشِهَا وَبِئْر ٍ مُعَطَّلَة ٍ وَقَصْر ٍ مَشِيد ٍ
Faka'ayyin Min Qaryatin 'Ahlaknāhā Wa Hiya žālimatun Fahiya Khāwiyatun `Alá `Urūshihā Wa Bi'rin Mu`aţţalatin Wa Qaşrin Mashīdin
So how many a town have We destroyed while it was doing wrong, so that it is lying in ruins with its wells abandoned, and empty palaces.
25:10
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي إِنْ شَاءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرا ً مِنْ ذَلِكَ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكَ قُصُورا ً
Tabāraka Al-Ladhī 'In Shā'a Ja`ala Laka Khayrāan Min Dhālika Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Wa Yaj`al Laka Quşūrāan
Blessed is the One who if He wishes can make for you better than that. Gardens with rivers flowing beneath them, and He will make for you palaces.
77:32
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَر ٍ كَالْقَصْرِ
'Innahā Tarmī Bishararin Kālqaşri
It throws sparks as huge as logs.

لَقَدْ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ رَسُولَهُ الرُّؤْيَا بِالْحَقِّ لَتَدْخُلُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ آمِنِينَ مُحَلِّقِينَ رُءُوسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِينَ لاَ تَخَافُونَ فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا فَجَعَلَ مِنْ دُونِ ذَلِكَ فَتْحا ً قَرِيبا ً
Laqad Şadaqa Allāhu Rasūlahu Ar-Ru'uyā Bil-Ĥaqqi Latadkhulunna Al-Masjida Al-Ĥarāma 'In Shā'a Allāhu 'Āminīna Muĥalliqīna Ru'ūsakum Wa Muqaşşirīna Lā Takhāfūna Fa`alima Mā Lam Ta`lamū Faja`ala Min Dūni Dhālika Fatĥāan Qarībāan
God has affirmed, that the vision of His messenger will come true: "You will enter the Restricted Temple, God willing, secure, with your heads shaven, and having shortened - no longer in fear." Thus, He knew what you did not know, and He has appointed before this a conquest near at hand.

وَإِخْوَانُهُمْ يَمُدُّونَهُمْ فِي الغَيِّ ثُمَّ لاَ يُقْصِرُونَ
Wa 'Ikhwānuhum Yamuddūnahum Fī Al-Ghayyi Thumma Lā Yuqşirūna
And their brethren attempt to drive them towards error, they do not cease.
