أُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللَّهُ فَبِهُدَاهُمُ اقْتَدِه ِِ قُلْ لاَ أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرا ً إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ ذِكْرَى لِلْعَالَمِينَ
'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Hadá Allāhu Fabihudāhumu Aqtadihi Qul Lā 'As'alukum `Alayhi 'Ajrāan 'In Huwa 'Illā Dhikrá Lil`ālamīna
These are the ones guided by God; so let their guidance be an example. Say: "I do not ask you for any wage; this is but a reminder for the worlds."

وَكَذَلِكَ مَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِي قَرْيَة ٍ مِنْ نَذِير ٍ إِلاَّ قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَى أُمَّة ٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ مُقْتَدُونَ
Wa Kadhalika Mā 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Fī Qaryatin Min Nadhīrin 'Illā Qāla Mutrafūhā 'Innā Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā `Alá 'Ummatin Wa 'Innā `Alá 'Āthārihim Muqtadūna
And similarly, We did not send a warner to a town, except its carefree ones said: We found our fathers following a certain way, and we are being guided in their footsteps.
