9:4
إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتُّمْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْئا ً وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدا ً فَأَتِمُّوا إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
'Illā Al-Ladhīna `Āhadttum Mina Al-Mushrikīna Thumma Lam Yanquşūkum Shay'āan Wa Lam Yužāhirū `Alaykum 'Aĥadāan Fa'atimmū 'Ilayhim `Ahdahum 'Ilá Muddatihim 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Muttaqīna
Except for those with whom you had made a pledge from among the polytheists if they did not reduce anything from it nor did they support anyone against you; you shall continue the pledge with them until its expiry. God loves the righteous.
11:84
وَإِلَى مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبا ً قَالَ يَاقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَه ٍٍ غَيْرُه ُُ وَلاَ تَنقُصُوا الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ إِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ بِخَيْر ٍ وَإِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْم ٍ مُحِيط ٍ
Wa 'Ilá Madyana 'Akhāhum Shu`aybāan Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allāha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu Wa Lā Tanquşū Al-Mikyā La Wa Al-Mīzāna 'Innī 'Arākum Bikhayrin Wa 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin Muĥīţin
And to Midyan was their brother Shu'ayb, he said: "My people, serve God, you have no god besides Him, and do not give short in the measure and the weight. I see you in prosperity, and I fear for you the retribution of a day that is surrounding."
13:41
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَأْتِي الأَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا وَاللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ لاَ مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِه ِِ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
'Awalam Yaraw 'Annā Na'tī Al-'ArĐa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţrāfihā Wa Allāhu Yaĥkumu Lā Mu`aqqiba Liĥukmihi Wa Huwa Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi
Do they not see that We come to the land and reduce it from its ends? And God gives judgment and there is none to override His judgment. And He is swift to reckoning.
21:44
بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَاؤُلاَء وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّى طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُ أَفَلاَ يَرَوْنَ أَنَّا نَأْتِي الأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا أَفَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
Bal Matta`nā Hā'uulā' Wa 'Ābā'ahum Ĥattá Ţāla `Alayhimu Al-`Umuru 'Afalā Yarawna 'Annā Na'tī Al-'ArĐa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţrāfihā 'Afahumu Al-Ghālibūna
It was Us who gave luxury to these and their fathers, until they grew old with age. Do they not see that We come to the land and reduce it from its edges? Will they be able to win?
50:4
قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنْقُصُ الأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ وَعِنْدَنَا كِتَابٌ حَفِيظ ٌ
Qad `Alimnā Mā Tanquşu Al-'ArĐu Minhum Wa `Indanā Kitābun Ĥafīžun
We know which of them has become consumed with the earth; and We have with Us a record which keeps track.

73:3
نِصْفَهُ~ُ أَوْ انْقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلا ً
Nişfahu 'Aw Anquş Minhu Qalīlāan
Half of it, or a little less than that.

35:11
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُرَاب ٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَة ٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَاجا ً وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَى وَلاَ تَضَعُ إِلاَّ بِعِلْمِه ِِ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِنْ مُعَمَّر ٍ وَلاَ يُنْقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ~ِ إِلاَّ فِي كِتَاب ٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِير ٌ
Wa Allāhu Khalaqakum Min Turābin Thumma Min Nuţfatin Thumma Ja`alakum 'Azwājāan Wa Mā Taĥmilu Min 'Unthá Wa Lā TaĐa`u 'Illā Bi`ilmihi Wa Mā Yu`ammaru Min Mu`ammarin Wa Lā Yunqaşu Min `Umurihi 'Illā Fī Kitābin 'Inna Dhālika `Alá Allāhi Yasīrun
And God created you from dust, then from a seed, then He made you into pairs. And no female becomes pregnant, nor gives birth, without His knowledge. Nor does anyone have his life extended, or his life is shortened, except in a record. This is easy for God.

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْء ٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْص ٍ مِنَ الأَمْوالِ وَالأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ
Wa Lanabluwannakum Bishay'in Mina Al-Khawfi Wa Al-Jū`i Wa Naqşin Mina Al-'Amwli Wa Al-'Anfusi Wa Ath-Thamarāti Wa Bashshiri Aş-Şābirīna
And We will test you with some fear and hunger, and a shortage in money and lives and fruits. And give good news to those who are patient.
7:130
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْص ٍ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
Wa Laqad 'Akhadhnā 'Āla Fir`awna Bis-Sinīna Wa Naqşin Mina Ath-Thamarāti La`allahum Yadhdhakkarūna
And We afflicted the people of Pharaoh with years of drought, and a shortage in crops, perhaps they would remember.

فَلاَ تَكُ فِي مِرْيَة ٍ مِمَّا يَعْبُدُ هَاؤُلاَء مَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُهُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَنقُوص ٍ
Falā Taku Fī Miryatin Mimmā Ya`budu Hā'uulā' Mā Ya`budūna 'Illā Kamā Ya`budu 'Ābā'uuhum Min Qablu Wa 'Innā Lamuwaffūhum Naşībahum Ghayra Manqūşin
So do not be in doubt as to what these people serve. They serve nothing except what their fathers before them served. We will give them their recompense in full.
