Wa Lā Takūnū Kāllatī NaqaĐat Ghazlahā Min Ba`di Qūwatin 'Ankāthāan Tattakhidhūna 'Aymānakum Dakhalāan Baynakum 'An Takūna 'Ummatun Hiya 'Arbá Min 'Ummatin 'Innamā Yablūkumu Allāhu Bihi Wa Layubayyinanna Lakum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Mā Kuntum Fīhi Takhtalifūna
And do not be like she who unraveled her knitting after it had become strong, by breaking your oaths as a means of deception between you. That a nation shall be more numerous than another nation, for God puts you to the test by it. And He will show you on the Day of Resurrection that which you were disputing in.

2:27
Al-Ladhīna YanquĐūna `Ahda Allāhi Min Ba`di Mīthāqihi Wa Yaqţa`ūna Mā 'Amara Allāhu Bihi 'An Yūşala Wa Yufsidūna Fī Al-'ArĐi 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Khāsirūna
The ones who break the pledge to God after making its covenant, and they sever what God had ordered to be delivered, and they make corruption on the earth; these are the losers.
8:56
Al-Ladhīna `Āhadta Minhum Thumma YanquĐūna `Ahdahum Fī Kulli Marratin Wa Hum Lā Yattaqūna
Those of them with whom you made a pledge, then they break their pledge every time, and they do take heed.
13:20
Al-Ladhīna Yūfūna Bi`ahdi Allāhi Wa Lā YanquĐūna Al-Mīthāqa
Those who fulfill the pledge of God, and they do not break the covenant.
13:25
Wa Al-Ladhīna YanquĐūna `Ahda Allāhi Min Ba`di Mīthāqihi Wa Yaqţa`ūna Mā 'Amara Allāhu Bihi 'An Yūşala Wa Yufsidūna Fī Al-'ArĐi 'Ūlā'ika Lahumu Al-La`natu Wa Lahum Sū'u Ad-Dāri
As for those who break their pledge with God after having made its covenant, and they withhold what God has ordered to be delivered, and they cause corruption on the earth; upon those is a curse and they will have a miserable abode.
16:91
Wa 'Awfū Bi`ahdi Allāhi 'Idhā `Āhadtum Wa Lā TanquĐū Al-'Aymāna Ba`da Tawkīdihā Wa Qad Ja`altumu Allāha `Alaykum Kafīlāan 'Inna Allāha Ya`lamu Mā Taf`alūna
And fulfill your pledge to God when you pledge so, and do not break your oath after making it, for you have made God a sponsor over you. God is aware of what you do.

4:155
Fabimā NaqĐihim Mīthāqahum Wa Kufrihim Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Qatlihimu Al-'Anbiyā'a Bighayri Ĥaqqin Wa Qawlihim Qulūbunā Ghulfun Bal Ţaba`a Allāhu `Alayhā Bikufrihim Falā Yu'uminūna 'Illā Qalīlāan
So, for the breaking of their covenant, and their rejection of the revelations of God, and their killing of the prophets without right, and their saying: "Our hearts are shielded." Indeed, God has stamped upon their hearts because of their rejection; they do not believe, except for a few.
5:13
Fabimā NaqĐihim Mīthāqahum La`annāhum Wa Ja`alnā Qulūbahum Qāsiyatan Yuĥarrifūna Al-Kalima `An MawāĐi`ihi Wa Nasū Ĥažžāan Mimmā Dhukkirū Bihi Wa Lā Tazālu Taţţali`u `Alá Khā'inatin Minhum 'Illā Qalīlāan Minhum Fā`fu `Anhum Wa Aşfaĥ 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna
But because of them breaking their covenant, We have cursed them, and made their hearts become hardened; they take the words out of context; and they forgot much of what they were reminded of. And you will still discover betrayal in them except for a few; so pardon them and overlook; God loves the good doers.
